Hello (again) all...was going through a bunch of old forum profiles, found this one and felt a bit of nostalgia for the good old days. It's been a HOT minute since I was last here. Not sure how "back" I am, but I hope to hang around and get into some of the discussions when I can. I miss having a group I can talk sports with. -P4L

I've no doubt, Tannehill will find work somewhere else. Part of me hopes he ends up somewhere else in our division and actually thriving, like Welker did with the Pats. I think Ryan's taken far more criticism than he deserves for Miami's offensive shortcomings. Not to mention...how many HC's and QBC's has he had now? Hardly any stability, and rarely a good enough surrounding cast. Despite all that, he's still the third longest tenured starting passer in franchise history with respectable, but modest, numbers. He's never going to be an elite QB, but he deserves better, imo. I suspect Miami is considering the "Tank for Tua" path, seeing as how there are no significantly better upgrades at the position available at this time. It's too bad Trevor Lawrence is ineligible for 2 more years. I'd heard Foles' name get tossed around, but honestly I doubt he's worth the cap hit while the Phins are on the fringe of going into rebuilding mode. I'd also read Bridgewater was on the radar. Honestly, they should just tear it all down and really start over, like Cleveland. That includes the inept FO personnel. If only we had Dorsey running operations.

The quality of football was surprisingly good (better than I thought, anyway), the pace of play was fantastic, and I absolutely love the transparency of video reviews. Methinks the NFL will learn from this league.

Damn you said Archie Was low but holy shit. Can you imagine if NFL Network got a hold of this? They'd lose it lol.

    96. Jon Kitna (Seattle Seahawks 1997-2000, Cincinnati Bengals 2001-2005, Detroit Lions 2006-2008, Dallas Cowboys 2010-2011) 7th Place Seahawks QB, 6th Place Bengals QB and 3rd Place Lions QB Career Record 50-82-0 (37.88%) 97th out of 102 Record in Games with Good Defense 33-19 (63.46%) 98th out of 102 Record in Games with Bad Defense 17-63 (21.25%) 90th out of 102 Percentage of Games with Good Defense 52/132 (39.39%) 93rd out of 102 (-3) Wins above Average Starter in a 16 Game Season (-0.865) Play the pipes Jonny Boy, we have our first QB in the Journeyman tier, and whoo boy is Jon Kitna a journeyman. Mostly known for his work backing up above average quarterbacks, Kitna had a long career and played for a lot of mediocre to downright bad teams in his career. Perhaps the highlight of his career is coming in for Carson Palmer in the postseason after Kimo Van Oelhoffen broke his leg, and playing... well miserably. He's been to the playoffs twice and been inconsequential both times, he has one of the worst records of any QB in this study, and he was one of the Lions QB's during the 0-16 season. If you need a capable backup, Kitna was about as reliable as it gets... but if you needed him to start a serious game? You were in trouble. Still, he's not bad for a guy who looks like a thumb.

Let's break this down further: QB: Jimmy G- QB39; complete bust. RB: Saquon Barkley- RB1; great pick RB: LeSean McCoy- RB39; complete bust. WR: Davante Adams- WR2; great pick. WR: TY Hilton- WR14; solid pick. TE: Delanie Walker- TE92; complete bust. K: Mason Crosby- K5- Solid pick. Def: Saints- DST13- Meh pick. Onto the Bench, those people "poised for future stardom": QB: Joe Flacco, QB31- bust. RBs: Chris Thompson, RB66- bust. Sony Michel: RB35- pretty much a bust came on a bit at the end. Aaron Jones- RB24- very up/down dude, did some work later on. Jordan Wilkins- RB75- bust. Austin Ekeler- RB25- had a couple weeks with Gordon hurt, other than that, a meh pick. WRs: Mike Williams, LAC, WR32- Unless you had the foresight to start him in the game Keenan Allen went down, pretty much a bust. Ted Ginn, WR115; complete bust. TE: OJ Howard TE14- Better than Walker, but still not good. So to sum up, your team has three top-5 players- one of which is a kicker, and just six top-20 players, three of which are defense, kicker, and a TE. You hit on Barkley, Adams, and Hilton... and that's pretty much it. You may have played the waiver wire well and done well, but your bench is complete and utter garbage, and you have zero depth... anywhere. Congrats on the self-own, bro.

Man you are one salty bitch, peperroni nips. Saquon was great, but he didn't beat Gurley by much- and only in PPR- and that's only because Gurley was hurt two games. How'd Jimmy G do for ya? Or the vast majority of your bench? Aaron Jones is about the only good guy in there for fantasy purposes.

Down, I will even take two teams this year if need be. Panthers for one, obviously.

    101. Chris Miller (Atlanta Falcons 1987-1993, Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams 1994-1995, Denver Broncos 1999) 7th Place Falcons Quarterback and 5th Place Rams Quarterback Career Record: 34-59-0 (36.56%) 100th out of 102 Record in Games with Good Defense: 24-15-0 (61.54%) 99th(T) out of 102 Record in Games with Bad Defense: 10-44-0 (18.52%) 94th out of 102 Percentage of Games with Good Defense: 39/93 (41.94%) 86th(T) out of 102 Wins above Average Starter in a 16 Game Season (-1.335) Chris Miller is one of those QB's you will easily forget about given time. He just barely made this list with 93 starts, and suffered a lot of concussions over his career. Despite a lot of mediocrity in his career, he did manage to make a playoff appearance, and the Falcons even won a playoff game before getting ousted by the eventual super bowl champion Redskins in 1991. He spent two years with the Rams combining with another Chris to make the most injury prone QB duo in the league for a couple of years. He tried to revive his career in Denver after a lengthy retirement but another concussion three games in ruined that plan. He wasn't a very effective winner, and had a high propensity for turning the ball over. He's another QB who you really wonder how the Falcons couldn't do better. Maybe they just got complacent because they couldn't lure free agents over back in that era.

Per Rotoworld.com: Responding to a January article questioning his character and 2018 attitude, Carson Wentz said "I'm not perfect." Wentz was surprisingly introspective responding to the wave-making PhillyVoice piece, disputing some specific assertions but acknowledging some of its broader strokes. "I know I’m not perfect. I know I have flaws," Wentz said. "So I’m not going to sit here and say it was inaccurate and completely made up. I’m not going to do that." Wentz also said he's unlikely to change. "I’m 26 years old; my personality, to some extent, ain’t going to change. ... It’s what’s gotten me here, what’s gotten me successful. I’m not going to say, ‘Oh, now I’m going to have this free-spirited, Cali-guy vibe.’ That’s just not going to change." They are fascinating, candid answers from a quarterback who has had a bizarre 15 months since injury likely cost him the 2017 MVP award. Wentz will have plenty to prove in 2019. He has the skill to do it. Feb 4 - 2:16 PM Source: Philadelphia Inquirer & Daily News

Yet I still think you have the stronger team compared to BC lol. Also lol @ the autodraft taking two kickers.
