I watch around 10 or 12, but only 4 of them are "must watch" shows that I love.
-
True Detective. Not too bad two episodes into the series.
-
King of The Nerds.

...I have yet to see anything to make me believe he won't make a solid HC. I don't like that he kept Haslett on staff, though. Our defense and special teams were the reasons we went 3-13. Even with an 80% healthy RG3, our offense finished #6 in the league. RG3 not being healthy had nothing to do with our record.

Being Human. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I love almost all Sci-Fi related stuff...comes with the nerd territory.
-
Sam Adams, Killian's, Yeungling, Heineken, pretty much all that I drink.
-
House of Lies. Midway through the second season and I am completely wrapped up. Very good show.

"I made a 360 degree turnaround in my life".....so you mean that nothing at all changed? -

Oddly shaped sense of humor? I am not exactly sure what you mean...but I am inclined to agree.

Orange is the New Black. Not sure if it is supposed to be a comedy. I thought it was, but I haven't laughed much. I am enjoying it quite a bit, though.

I understand what both of you are saying. The concept of free will is not something that I have ever fully bought. It is merely an illusion provided by something to make us believe that we have control over our destiny. Does that counteract what I previously stated? -

I disagree that fate does not exist. Everything we act that we take leads to the next choice, which, if you believe in God, is already laid out for you (Jeremiah 29:11). I interpret that to say that he/she/it has our destination already planned for us, therefore, everything we do in life is leading us to said end point. Isn't that more of an argument against free will rather than for fate? Are they not essentially the same thing? Free will says that WE determine our path. Lack of free will says that no matter what we do, our lives will turn out the same. Fate dictates that no matter what we do, our lives will turn out the same. Everything is already laid out for us at the moment of conception. -

Sports: -Pretty much anything coined by Dick Vitale. - Referring to a game as "the game of the century". Really? Out of the literally TENS OF THOUSANDS of games that have been played throughout last hundred years in every single sport; that one game is the best of them all? Why? What negates the other excellent games from contention for that title? General life: - Saying "I could care less"...this implies exactly the opposite of what the person who is using the phrase means. What you mean to say is "I COULDN'T care less. The former says that there is actually a part of you that cares at least somewhat, the latter means that you have absolutely zero care at all. I could go on for pages with the things that people say that are technically incorrect, but are so common that they are societal cliches at this point. -
Gideon's Sword. by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child.

Season premiere of Justified. Timothy Olyphant is one of my favorite actors.

"Thanks for coming, you have to leave the store now." That line made me laugh.

Should there be an age line drawn with dating?
Duck Fallas replied to BwareDWare94's topic in The Sideline
I would never pursue them in any way, just to be clear. Pursuing someone because they are 17 or younger is morally wrong when you are in your 30's. But pursuing someone and then finding out they are 17 is a bit more of a gray area with me. As I said; attraction knows no boundaries. -

Should there be an age line drawn with dating?
Duck Fallas replied to BwareDWare94's topic in The Sideline
While I would never like my daughters to date anyone twice their age, I have strongly mixed feelings about the term "predatory" simply because of one thing: Attraction knows no boundaries. The law sets them, not nature. I am a 35 year old man. I don't look my age. It is not by choice, but I get hit on by teenage girls more often than I would like. Is that my fault? -
American Horror Story: Asylum. Pretty good shit. Creepy as fuck.

Today is Christmas day! (at least on the east coast)

This is gonna be such a train-wreck. I can't wait. I am sure that I will enjoy every minute of this train wreck. On another note: Interesting... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2094766/?ref_=nv_sr_2

What was the last movie you watched?
Duck Fallas replied to GA_Eagle's topic in General Entertainment
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. I loved it, especially after how incredibly disappointing the first movie was. I thought they did a fantastic job really letting us see the dragon and how they didn't pussify him at all. I will admit that I was concerned that he didn't show up until the last 40 minutes of the movie.
