Importance of a Franchise QB
DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F replied to seanbrock's topic in General NFL Talk
At some point the argument for not overpaying a franchise QB would hold some weight, but that shouldn't be an issue right now. With the way the Salasry cap is rising, the opportunities are there. Plus isn't the average roster turnover range like 2 to 4 years anyway? If theres one position you don't want to have to replace every 2 to 4 years, it's your Quarterback. -
LeBron's been on a tear. His defense isn't up to snuff most of the time, but it's ridiculous how well he's playing. That three game won't probably stick forever but he's been looking good.

Jeez what a mess, this was even more distrastrous then I thought it wa s going to be.

Peterman is failing hilasriously bad, and I want to not find it hillarious, but I do. #FREETYRODTAYLOR

oy, that Lonzo offense is brutal. Even when he gets to the paint it's all bad. Guy needs to calm down out there missing these layups.

Hey Look! Truth!
DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F replied to BwareDWare94's topic in Politics, Religion & Science
This article litterally and hilariously reads as a parody Onion article about gun violence in this country. Guy mows down hundreds at a concert, 20+ mowed down in a church, people stall and respond by saying this is "too complicating", and eventually get over it. Terrorist with ties to ISIS kills a whole lot less, everybody wants to talk about it and sweep it all under one religion. -
Wow Blake Bortles is trash... I used to be a believer.
-
A lot of bricks between the Lakers and the Celtics. Both are good defensive teams but damn.
-
Drummond hit 14 out of his 16 free throws yesterday... The guy is really starting to step his game up.
-
And speaking of Bledsoe, there's talks about Detroit wanting him for Jackson. The thought of having Bledsoe both scares and excites me. Dumping Jackson now that he's starting to look good again for a guy who might take some time adjusting assuming he's not hurt is very spooky. But I also have been one of Bledsoe's greatest supporters.

And Philadelphia might be a lot better then I originally thought. I didn't think Simmons was going to come wth it right off the bat like this.

What I said the last time the Lions played a game: From this week: https://twitter.com/FO_ScottKacsmar/status/924863413850865664?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.prideofdetroit.com%2F2017%2F10%2F30%2F16569082%2Fdetroit-lions-red-zone-statistics-pittsburgh-steelers-sunday-night-football

It's only 7 games in, but boy. Beating the Clippers in Staples Center, and then beating GSW in Oracle on back to back nights... Sitting on top of the Eastern Conference... Eeeeyyyyyyy
-
Wiggins has turned into an offense first player in the mold of James Harden, KAT lacks awareness on defense and is also focussing on developing his offense, and Gibson is very slow at this point... Two of those guys are supposed to be your best players, and the other a defensive big Plus Butler's health.

I miss and love Suh so much. Man gives no fucks.
-
As much as it PAINS me to admit, Embiid owned Drummond the previous game. But I am glad he's taking shots at Drummond. I've had it with this guy and how little he tries on defense/when the team is losing by a lot. Man's not hot. Smh

Pistons wouldn't be a Detroit team if they didn't look good for their first couple of games before being down by 20 at the half to the 76ers... Also Ben is such a matchup nightmare, guy just shoots over guards.
-
They should of moved Bledsoe for something. It's not too late to do so still, but it's clear he isn't happy, and they are wasting eveeryone's time.
-
Through preseason and through three games, Drummond has been statistically better from the FT line, which has been huge. He probably won't be that way forever, but, some improvement at the start of the season gives me hope.

WIth the draft around the corner, and the rumors flying out, the offseason is officially udnerway... LET'S GO

So The Gifted is pretty good... No? -
The Lions find new and creative ways to both win and lose. Pretty wild, I watch then every week to.see what'll happen next. 12 (!!!) batted passes... 4 pass defensed... The offense is tragically bad right now, and the defense has no rush. The offensive line is made up of gates that are never closed... It's all bad. Smh

This wad honestly one of the hardest games to watch, ever. And I saw this team go 0-16. 12 Batted passes, dropped passes left and right, Stafford with the fumbleitis, and destroyed every drive, defense leaky everywhere, etc etc etc. I am so far beyond done with Ebron. Man is total trash.
