His defense didn't seem so good today. Letting the Niners score 37 points on you.
Not sure Gregg should take the fall for this one. Alex Smith made some pretty awesome throws in the 4th quarter. And if you want to blame the game on something, blame it on 5 turnovers.

7-0 Patriots. That was fast.
-
What. A. Football. Game.
-
To the 4th quarter. Saints with possession and their offense seems to finally be building momentum.
Gonna be a good finish.
-
Yeah the Saints are a dome team on the road, and yeah San Fran's defense has been stout as hell at home, but the 49ers' offense will fail on 3rd downs and in the red zone, which will be their undoing.

Flea > Watt. Self-explanatory.
Myung > Martinie. Two of my favorites but Myung is a beast.
Harris > Araya. Not a huge Slayer fan in the first place and Harris is really underrated, IMO.
Burton > Wolstenholme. I'm a big Wolstenholme fan but I can't bring myself to justify him being better than Cliff.
-
Claypool > Bogert. Haven't heard much from either, honestly, but Claypool is one of the best.
Chancellor > Freeman. Another really close one but I'm a big fan of Chancellor's style.
Christ > Wooten. I know Wooten is the better bassist, but I'm making a political vote for Johnny because I don't think Wooten should really qualify for this tourney.
Graham > Ramirez. Self-explanatory.
-
Lee > McCartney. Self-explanatory.
Glover > Collins. Not too familiar with Collins, and Glover is still awesome.
Deacon > Butler. I agree with Vin: toughest matchup of this round. Flip a coin.
Squire > DeLeo. Self-explanatory.
-
Entwisle > Levin. Self-explanatory.
Waters > Lesh. Lesh is underrated but Waters is still better.
Bruce > Jamerson. Really close but I just haven't heard enough of Jamerson's stuff. And Bruce is the man.
JPJ > Pastorius. It's JPJ anyway, but I don't really consider Pastorius a rock bassist since he's more of a solo/virtuoso guy.

Okay, the votes have now been made final, and a 32-bassist bracket is ready to roll! Polls will start going up in a few minutes.

Love seeing lots of trash talk from both sides leading up to a playoff football game. Even if the game ends up being one-sided and boring, that means that one group of smack talkers has some 'splainin' to do.
-
Not to mention the fact that Raji was pretty awful this season.

Yes. Big time. They were sure he was their guy.
I dunno, if I'm a Dolphins fan I see a lot of potentially good names out there. I don't think Fisher is a stand-out candidate, for most of the reasons Zack stated.
-
Ireland continues to fail the Fins. I can tell you that the reaction here in South Florida is very negative right about now.
Were Dolphins fans really hoping for Fisher?
-
Flacco is a fucking goober. His voice just screams "I would love nothing more than to eat jam out of a man's ass and then go play Dungeons and Dragons."

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Totally loved it. A really unique, trippy movie that's almost hard to explain without really getting into it, but it was fantastic and I need to watch it again to understand everything.
50/50. Just as good as I was hoping it would be. Wasn't sure how you could make a movie about cancer into a really funny comedy without making it awkward, but that's just what this movie is. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen are both incredible.

Nothing wrong with showcasing a new stadium on opening night. Looking forward to this.

I'd be surprised if the Bucs don't go after a Guard this off-season so there might be some bidding going on.
The Glazers aren't usually ones to spend money in free agency. They really push that "build through the draft" message, and when you consider that Nicks is gonna become the highest paid guard in the NFL, I doubt the Bucs will be competitive bidders.

Chud would be a good hire for the Rams, IMO, because he can make Bradford to Blackmon a winning combination.
