Dad: Steven Wright comedy tape and the new Planet of the Apes movie
Mom: Jaws t-shirt and Amazon Kindle gift card
Brother: Breaking Bad t-shirt and Moneyball (book, not movie)
Went for quality over quantity this year because I'm broke.

Though while we will be missing out on the playoffs due to a horrendous first three-fourths of the season, any year where we sweep the Dallas Cowgirls is a partially successful one.

Wow, I thought for sure that FOX would have protected Giants/Cowboys since it's a de facto NFC East championship game.

My NBA knowledge is very limited and thus I'll probably only be participating in a few of these polls, but here's how my top 5 looked:
1. Wade
2. James
3. Rose
4. Durant
5. Dirk

I know the Glazers probably want to give Morris one more year, but they really have to think hard about moving in a different direction after the way this season has gone downhill...

Furthermore, entering the draft when you're younger makes it easier to sit and waste the early years of your contract learning and growing into the NFL quarterback you want to become.
That's an interesting point. Thinking in the context of Barkley's--or any young quarterback for that matter--long-term NFL career, which is a more productive use of his time next year, a senior season at USC or a season riding pine for an NFL team?

Fuck. Accidentally negged you, Stevo.
Asshole. Coal for Christmas this year for j00.

With the rookie pay scale the NFL has adopted, is the difference in money between the 1st pick and picks in the 7-10 range really that significant? Barkley's going for a historic senior year; I gotta respect him for that.

Atlanta Please. That way we can have the head-hunting duo of Robinson and Asante giving out more concussions than INT's
Yeah, because Asante is such a physical corner known for his bone-crushing hits and proficient tackling ability.

Cowboys kinda have to be #1 because they control their own destiny in winning the division, and Washington kinda has to be #4 because they suck. I'm putting the Eagles above the Giants simply because they're hot at the right time while the G-Men seem to be collapsing. Obviously a lot can and probably will change this weekend.

This is definitely what needs to happen. Put DRC back on the outside where he belongs, and put Joselio Hanson in the slot where he belongs. Then upgrade the linebackers and pray Nate Allen/Jaiqwaun Jarrett take a big step forward, and we've got ourselves a nice little defense.

That's why the NFC East is my favorite division. It's the most competitive and every year its always a tough battle for the #1 and #2 spots, which is usually a wild card.
Hey look, a non-NFC East fan gets it. Even in a year when the teams in the East are having a down year, the level of competition is still as high as ever. Gonna be a real fun finish to the season, and even if the Eagles' playoff hopes are dim, it's still exciting to know we have a chance.

Stadium Wars: Divisional Semifinals
in AFC
Posted · Edited by SteVo
Information
Since we all love tournaments around here, it's time for another one: NFL stadiums. In each matchup, simply vote for the superior stadium as you see it.
First, the four stadiums in each division will do battle for two rounds so that eight stadiums remain. From there we will reseed mostly based on margin of victory in previous rounds, then vote single-elimination style until we have a winner.
NOTE: Since MetLife Stadium hosts both the Giants and Jets, it will count for the Giants in the NFC East poll, while we'll use the Rogers Centre in this poll essentially as a wild card.
Gillette Stadium
Foxborough, Massachusetts
vs.
Sun Life Stadium
Miami Gardens, Florida
Rogers Centre
Toronto, Ontario
vs.
Ralph Wilson Stadium
Orchard Park, New York
