Tedc

I am known as the Bull Pen Hardhat or Tedc to my friends. I have been a Texan fan from the very infancy of the organization before the team had a name or color scheme. I purchased my PSL season tickets on the first available day and added more as they became available. I am a very mild mannered person, soft spoken and tame until you add football. That is when a certain gleam in my eyes can be seen and I am anything but mild mannered. Diehard fans of the Texans know my incessant yelling and cheering for the team.

The Bull Pen Hardhat persona is very simple. I am a contractor, so I bought a Texans hardhat as soon as I could. After the first year, I decided that I didn't feel like any other fan so why should my hardhat be the same. I designed and custom painted my hardhat so that when I take my hat off to the team, the Texans logo is easy to see. I have been a finalist in the Houston Texans Ultimate Fan contest two out of the three times I was able to participate. I stand (we do not sit) in the front rows of Bull Pen, which is a section where the rowdy fans reside. Tailgating is very important to me. I have been a member of the famous Blue Crew Tailgate from the first year and we host opposing fans at almost every game. I am constantly inviting fans from other teams to come and enjoy some southern hospitality. Some of the fans we have hosted are Spike, Tony the Mobile Dawg, Charlie Frye, Birdman, Raider Ron, and others. If you haven't been to Houston, this is your invitation. We will take care of you.

I am a member of PFUFA (Professional Football Ultimate Fans Association). Our mission is to Promote the fellowship of all fans, encourage sportsmanship and support charitable activities. ultimate fans from across the nation congregate in Canton, Ohio during Hall Of Fame weekend for a reunion and to help raise monies for charity.
