At this point him knowing he was on the clock, saying what he said, and logging off it's safe to say he's done. His three teams are the Bills, Steelers, and Falcons. I say if PD wants the Bills, he can have 'em. Hell, I'll take the Steelers if no one else wants them.

They say games are won in the trenches, and so far how the draft has fallen the trenches is what I've been fortifying for the Texans. While not a pressing need, Tillery was just too good to pass up in the late 2nd. They did just lose Christian Covington to the Cowboys, so it does need to be addressed eventually. Mercilus-Tillery-Reader-Watt-Clowney ^ That d-line would be ridiculous! Now obviously the biggest need is to protect Deshaun Watson, so that's why I even reached a bit on McGovern. He's likely more a 3rd round prospect, but I feel like there's a big drop-off in talent at Guard after him and I didn't want to risk him being gone by the next Texans pick. As far as the Cowboys go it sucks they don't have a pick until #58, but they'd have to be ecstatic to have a first round talent like Parris Campbell fall into their lap. More of a BPA pick, still Dak needs more weapons to throw to other than Amari Cooper and I feel Campbell would be a great complement to him. Sidenote: Cowboys are also interested in trading up in the 3rd round, so if you want to trade down shoot me a PM.

Fair points. I'll just say I predict that the Fleet will be dropping quite a bit in your rankings in the foreseeable future. -
It'd sorta make sense if Foles had a lot of suitors bidding for his services, but the Jags were basically bidding against themselves!

BC, that post wasn't a direct dig at you, my man. This has happened already with multiple users and I'm trying to get this thing running as smoothly and efficiently as possible, because we didn't finish last year and that really sucked! Honestly BC you've been on top of things more than most, so don't sweat it. If I could personally edit the title, I'd totally do it.

My only complaint with your list is having San Diego at #2. They barely squeaked by a win over Salt Lake and it's because they are stuck with Bercovici at quarterback after injuries. If Philip Nelson was healthy #2 would totally make sense, but now I'd put both San Antonio and Birmingham above San Diego at this point. I fully expect Birmingham to kick their ass next week. (Regardless of Perez or Price at QB) -
So I don't want to be that guy, but someone has to. I've noticed it has happened already that people who are on the clock are online and either not checking, or not realizing their pick is up and end up logging off. Since we couldn't finish the mock last year, I'm proposing something that could remedy this and want to know what y'all think... 1. After you make your pick, put "username" is now on the clock under your post. 2. If user is online post it in the chat and try to confirm that they see it. 3. If not online, send a PM to them. Is this overkill? I don't know, but I also feel like we've already wasted time in the first round and you guys know it only gets worse the later we get into it... Edit: Also if you're online, always AT LEAST ONCE check the draft thread if you're participating in it.

I was trying to trade up for Jonah or Dillard, so to have Dillard fall into my lap at #23 was a huge relief! Dillard is arguably the best pass blocking tackle in this draft, and that's one of the top needs for the Texans. Gotta protect Deshaun! If this happens in the real draft, I hope the Texans are sprinting to the podium to draft Dillard.

Razor: Has Warren Moon at #71, "gives reasons." Me:
-
I would hope the Texans sprint to the podium if Dillard is available at #23, but I can't be mad at taking Greedy there either. Tough call, but it definitely fills one of the two biggest needs for them.

Seattle's defense had a lot more longevity, but Denver's defense that one year they won it all was the best single season of the decade.
-
Unless they sign Foles to a Keenum-like contract, but even if that happens I personally don't think Murray will be available at #7. Jags are likely going to need to trade up to get him.
-
I don't think so. I'm pretty sure they land Nick Foles. Reaching on someone like D.K. Metcalf is more their M.O. if they stay put at #7.
