Also, Bucman makes a point. If I remember correctly, VTech was scheduled back when they were consistently in the ACC title game. NIU a few years ago was a consistent threat for the at-large BCS bid, and Hawaii was probably just a fluff. Not denying the B1G slate is easy, but there is NOTHING OSU can do about that.

Michigan always plays competitive. Minnesota SHOULD be competitive... they'd be really fucking good if they had any offense. Maryland is a maybe, but not winning at OSU. VTech was a bad loss, but it was a team that had replaced most of its Oline and had a brand new QB in. OSU at the end of 2014/2015 would have hung 50 on that VTech team. Back to Michigan, they'll really be as good as Ruddock lets them. Their defense looked solid and #4 looked good too, but Ruddock threw that game away...

The B1G could still be tough this year. MSU will be hard, Minnesota could be hard, maybe Wisconsin turns things around and doesn't suck (looks unlikely), maybe Indiana can rekindle its offensive spark from two years ago, maybe PSU recovers from Temple, and maybe Rutgers and Maryland are both strong teams. Last year kind of proved my point. This year might be different, or it could be the same. We don't know yet. The SEC had 3 top 4 teams last year that all had pretty bad ends to the seasons, especially Auburn. LSU was pretty mediocre and TAMU was just bad. Arkansas was basically the SEC's PSU last year - competitive but not good enough.
