    Praise Your Team/Rip Your Team

Praise: Well...lol...at this point, not much. Julio being Julio and Matt Ryan being Matt Ryan. O-line was playing a lot better too before they were decimated by the injury bug. I still like what Im seeing out of Asamoah and Matthews so far though. Run blocking could be alot better. Trufant is playing well even though he has to cover for 10 minutes every play. Also Hesters been a nice surprise. Rip: Where do I start...pull up a chair. The defense is nonexistent. Mike Nolan insists on trying to be cute with this 3-4/4-2-5/4-3/Hybrid/Amoeba/Mutant/X-men/Idontknowanymorewhatthefuck defense when they're not even close to having the talent, smarts, or players to do so. They wanted to make the D-line bigger and they accomplished that. Tyson Jackson and Paul Soliai were supposed to come in to take on blockers, free up linebackers, and stop the run. How is that supposed to work though when you don't have any linebackers? Your best linebacker goes out for the season in training camp, and you have 2 UDFA and an already average at best Kroy Biermann coming off of an achilles injury as starters, that's not good. As a result the bigger d-line takes up said blockers, but there's nobody to get to the QB or fill the gaps and stop the run(especially in a 4-2-5 wtf). The linebackers are either dropped into coverage or don't have the speed/talent to provide a pass rush, even if we did blitz, which we don't. Back to that 4-2-5, throw that out the window please. It hasn't worked AT ALL so far. If they run, when they do get to the 2nd level its pretty much a wrap because its a wide open field in the middle. If they pass, once again there's nobody over the middle of the field. The DBs are down the field in coverage because the QB has enough time to do his taxes before there's pressure of any kind. Then the 2 linebackers we do have in are off somewhere in "coverage" if you can call it that. That leads to dump offs to the RB/short, dink and dunk passes over the middle which turn into big gains. I watched that happen at least 8 times against the Bears this past Sunday and not one adjustment was made. That leads me to the coaching staff... we need an overhaul. Except Tice, Robiskie, Armstrong, and maybe Cox, everybody needs to be gone. They're incompetent. Mike Smith gets out coached regularly and plays favorites (why is Biermann still on the field over Massaquoi? Why does Antone Smith score a TD every time he touches the ball, then goes right back to the bench afterwards never to be heard from again??). Then there's Mike Nolan, like I stated above, he's trying to out scheme the world and be cute when it's obviously not working at all. Dirk Koetter, while at times looks like a genius, makes boneheaded decisions regularly(most notably running Steven Jackson up the middle 95% of the time on 1st down for 1 yard..ugh). I might let him stay if we had a running game to speak of, and those first down runs actually did something. Just to see what he could do with everything clicking. The front office also needs changes. I've been a supporter of Dimitroff up until the end, but I think we need a new GM. His "build through the draft" philosophy just isn't working, especially when you only build your team by trying to find gems in the draft and dumpster diving in free agency. Hes also ignored glaring holes for years (Pass rush/ D-line/ O-line/ depth) only to have them come back and bite him in the ass which should cost him his job. There's alot more I could get into, but I've gotta cut it short. I've gotta leave for a wedding...bleh. Long story short.... Offense is good except for run blocking and O-line depth along with wtf moments from the coaching staff. Defense is atrocious and needs to be blown up. Coaching staff needs to go as well, except for a select few. Also a new GM needs to take over and right the ship.

What Game Are You Currently Playing?

Yeah it made mine freeze up alot, 90% of the time it was on dawnbreaker. Apparently it was a big problem with everybody though. It got fixed around May I think, and I haven't had any other problems other than camp snipers every where you turn in some games. Anyways I added you.

    Another Ebola case in Texas

http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/10/15/us-health-ebola-usa-idUSKCN0I40UE20141015 (Reuters) - A second Texas healthcare worker who treated the first patient to be diagnosed with Ebola in the United States has tested positive for the disease, the Texas Department of State Health Services said on Wednesday. At least 4,447 people have died in West Africa in the worst Ebola outbreak on record, but cases in the United States and Europe have been limited. The virus can cause fever, bleeding, vomiting and diarrhea, and spreads through contact with bodily fluids. In Dallas, the worker at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, who cared for Ebola victim Thomas Eric Duncan, was immediately isolated after reporting a fever on Tuesday, the state health department said. "Health officials have interviewed the latest patient to quickly identify any contacts or potential exposures, and those people will be monitored," it said in a statement. Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings said at an early morning news conference on Wednesday the second infected nurse lived alone and had no pets. He said local health officials moved quickly to clean affected areas involving the second nurse and to alert her neighbors and friends. Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital is doing everything it can to contain the virus, said Dr. Daniel Varga of Texas Health Resources, which owns the hospital. "I don't think we have a systematic institutional problem," he said. At the same news conference, Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins, the county's chief political officer, said authorities are anticipating additional possible Ebola cases. "We are preparing contingencies for more, and that is a very real possibility," Jenkins said. Another nurse, 26-year-old Nina Pham, was the first person to have been infected by Ebola in the United States, and was diagnosed this weekend. She had cared for Duncan during much of his 11 days in hospital. He died in an isolation ward on Oct. 8. The hospital said on Tuesday that Pham was "in good condition". The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in a statement that it was performing confirmation testing of Texas' preliminary tests on the new patient. CDC Director Dr. Thomas Frieden said on Tuesday the agency was establishing a rapid-response team to help hospitals "hands on, within hours" whenever there is a confirmed case of Ebola. Frieden has come under pressure over the response and preparedness for Ebola, but White House spokesman Josh Earnest said U.S. President Barack Obama is confident of Frieden's ability to lead the public health effort. Just in time for Halloween! Thoughts on the upcoming zombie apocalypse?

What Game Are You Currently Playing?

Should have an Xbox One before too long. Had the money to get one last month, but decided to wait for better games plus I'm still in the middle of a game on 360. With Christmas coming up now I've gotta get friends and family the stuff I wanna get them before I go splurging for myself. With that said anybody play Battlefield 4 on 360? Haven't played it in a while, but as far as online games go that's about it at the moment.

    Gurley suspended indefinitely

Gurley might never play another down at UGA for selling autographs. Meanwhile Winston is accused of rape and steals fucking crab legs and not only keeps playing, but goes on to lead his team to a championship. Its bullshit, and not really something that can just be swept under the rug. When this story broke you could literally feel the mood change here in Georgia. Facebook blew up, it was a headline story on local news, hell even coworkers of mine that have even watched a football game in their life were asking about it. Oh, and ole dude that ratted him out is a Florida fan, imagine that..

Falcons IR everyone, sign OT Bradfield

That defense needs a complete makeover (and here I thought we just did that). Outside out the secondary, and maybe Worrilow(who sucked Sunday too) and Soliai, its complete garbage. Whether it be by lack of talent or by being misused(Jackson at DT, Osi, whos sadly our best pass rusher being dropped into coverage, Biermann in over anybody at this point, etc..). The offense is on point, but we cant expect to win shootouts every week, the defense has to do its part at some point.

    The Official Smile Suggestion Thread

Just a suggestion, and maybe its just my OCD kicking in, but could they be better organized by chance? Theres a bunch of random ones at the top. Then a group of teams, a couple more regular smileys, then a Lions one. Then more regular ones with signs, sloths, and memes mixed in. Then the same Lions one, followed by more regulars with teams and signs peppered in. Another group of teams after that followed by another cluster fuck of random smileys and teams...you get the point. Just makes it really difficult to find a particular smiley. Could maybe be grouped along the lines of: Teams, signs, memes, faces, normal smileys, etc..

The Ten Dumbest Fan Bases in America

They forgot Saints fans. Trust me I have to deal with them all the time, 75% of which weren't even fans before Katrina. I can literally feel my IQ dropping every time I hear "Who dat!?" or "Drew Breeeeeees!".

How did you find out about TGP?

A long time ago I was looking for similar minded folk who enjoyed the simpler things in life. Midgets, peanut butter, clingons, that sort of thing. I ran across a lil feller named KJ707 one day, we hit it off right away! We used to stay up at night and drink Franzia, watch Gilmore Girls, and wax each others backs. What a time it was! Anyways, one day he asked me if I wanted to take things to the "Xtreme". I was hesitant at first, but after a little "coercion" I agreed. The rest they say, is history.

    Whatcha Cooking for Gameday?

Gonna try and make something different every week this year. Last week was homemade shrimp egg rolls (it might be weird for a football game, but fuck you.) Along with some Octoberfest( I see you Piggly ). This week I'm thinking beer battered onion rings and buffalo wings, along with more Octoberfest of course.
