    A commercial I was in

shit was fun as fuck to film.. they're going to play it all the home games. Funniest part was finding one of the extras to get laid out by me for my scene. Not too many volunteers.

    PeakPhotography..redesigned

Been working for a few days, but I still have a few odds and ends to tidy up. But it's mostly where I want it to be. I should write some copy for the pages at some point but I write so much copy for work I'm tired of it (plus I suck ass at it). But I felt I lost some design with this theme, but it's much better for what I need it for. I kept trying to code in a cart type gallery but it never quite jelled together and looked mega unprofessional. And my original site was designed to not really take in much for print orders (it was complicated and could only take one order at a time). This new site added a much needed cart, so check it out... and maybe buy a print to help me reach my goal http://www.peakphotography.org/ cheers
  7. Now I've been to some great concerts, the Brad Paisley/Darius Rucker/ Justin Moore probably tied with Blake Shelton/Justin Moore concert. But today I happened to be at what would end up being one of the worst vocal performances I've witnessed. It was an all day Blue Grass Festival that started at 11am, and had great acts all day with the headliners being Mission Mountain Wood Band, Ozark Mountain Dare Devils and of course The Marshall Tucker Band. Everyone was great, until it got to the Marshall Tucker Band. The lead vocalist (Marshall Gray) must of had a cold. His voice was raspy and it was awful. Couldn't hit any notes, had zero harmony. The rest of the band was great, and every song he didn't sing was great. I ended up leaving about midway through because it was unbearable. So... stories?

    Photography: Grand Tetons

These were shot down in Grand Tetons National Park which is almost a continuation off of the southern entrance to Yellowstone. I wish I had more than a half day to shoot the park, but here's a taste. I was in Yellowstone and made just a short day trip down. I want to go night shoot the Tetons at some point. and a few from Yellowstone that never got posted yada yada yada Sweetness p.s. a buddy of mine is an amazing painter and is getting to be well known. He asked me if I'd sell him artistic license to a few of my photos to be painted. I told him instead I'd love for him to just give me one of the paintings. I'm still undecided on what I want him to paint, but he's finished a few of the pictures I gave him for inspiration. here it is: any suggestions on what he should paint for me are welcome. But I'll have him paint something Yellowstone/Montana because he's a local artist and it would be weird to request an African painting.
  10. Benjamin Button would probably go on the list of worst movies I've seen this decade. Way too long and dull.

  13. Apparently I need to get on my game, I haven't seen Michael Clayton, Gone Baby Gone, Milk, or Sideways. I never have enough time to watch movies between football and school. Usually just a tv show or two.

    Montana State Football

So I still have some big posts coming your way from Montana, but I wanted to post this short set first. We have some pretty bad fires nearby and it made for a crazy ass sunset the other day. So I hit up my football stadium to take pictures. So here we go.. So not a lot, but pretty cool imo. Should make me some good money because the biggest thing I sell is MSU football prints and these are by far my best in the whole series. The rest of the series is here: http://www.peakphotography.org/montana-state-football/ Anyway, you know the drill... comments/critiques/and all that Sweetness EDIT: Can a mod change the title to "Photography: Montana State Football" I accidently left off the photography part.. gracias

    Photography: Landscapes of Namibia

I believe this is my last post in the Africa series, so I hope you guys have enjoyed them. Anyway, won't post them all.. but here's the link the full gallery: http://www.peakphotography.org/landscapes-of-namibia/ Well I posted a lot more than planned, but Namibia's landscape is so diverse that I wanted to grab some of each element. Anyway, the usual: comments/critiques/critisms Ain't nothin but a peanut Sweetness

My photography featured on Fox News

Thought you guys might like this... now I can't stand Fox News, but they just got one notch cooler when they featured a lot of my photos on a segment they filmed of my dad. My dad does travel segments from time to time for them and the recent one was on our trip to Africa. I gave them a huge file of pro photographers with mine mixed in. And they used a majority of my shots! Anyway, hope you like it http://video.foxnews.com/v/1700855632001/african-adventure/

    Photography: Yellowstone in Summer

So I still have two more Africa albums to post, but thought I'd mix it up with some shots I took in Yellowstone for a 3 day weekend. And while some of these bear shots almost cost me my life, they were well worth it. Ok that's a shit ton, I'll save the rest, which were from the Grand Tetons, for another post. As always, comments/critiques/and all that bullshit The Dude

So back to Africa... now, to posting the wildlife portion. I wasn't in an area that is really wildlife prone, but I still got some pretty good shots... anyway: Anyway, didn't post all of them like last time so go check out the rest: http://www.peakphotography.org/wildlife/ Anyway, you know the drill: comments/critiques/critism/badassery Sweetness

    Photography: Yellowstone in Summer

Do it! Do it as soon as possible! I go about 4 times a year minimum. Fall is the best time to go imo. Right before they close the roads, the tourists have all packed up and left and it's usually just the locals. haha, this is pretty much my backyard dude. Takes me about an hour and a half to drive to Yellowstone. Oh she saw me, she was coming right after me in this picture. One hand on my bear spray and one hand on my camera to get this shot. She lost the standoff and ran into the hills. Which left me to take pictures of her cubs. Then I saw her running back towards the tree to get her cubs and my ass left in a hurry. Thank you, and I love Montana... really the best gift a photographer can get is living here. I'm actually about to head out into the mountains for the rest of the day. Not a clue where I'm going, but I should get great pictures. I love the Tetons, and this was my first time back in a long time.. and the first time photographing them. They just top every other mountain set because of their location. Just flat prairie land and then BAM, jut out of the land.
