What should it include? I am in charge of putting on an American Culture Night at an international conference my school is hosting the last two weeks of this month. Sadly, there can't be a lot of beer, as I will be one of the few students there old enough to drink in the states. My plan was just to buy a bunch of lager and throw some dogs on the grill. I was told by those above me that I wasn't allowed to do that. <_<

Somewhere in the seventh hour of the day. I'm not sure how believable this is, however, as my mom doesn't remember my first word. She merely assumes it was some variation of "Mom." I don't know. The chat users seem sort of moronic. It involved the Fed, tariffs, and... *goes to check the internet* subsidies. All of which I support (except tariffs... creative destruction and whatnot is good), except tariffs. The tariffs and subsidies created a South which depended far too heavily on domestic exchange, so when that was cut off because of the Civil War, no big deal, it suffered greatly in terms of not only economic growth, but economic sustainability.
