If I'm not mistaken, Roddy has never missed a game to date. I can't imagine him missing a divisional opener. I don't think they'll really need him to beat the Saints, but I do think he plays.

If you lock Hardy up now you can save some serious coin AND keep the best DE tandem in the league together for a few more years.

I wasn't impressed with the Eagle's game, but then again it is only preseason. No game planning, half effort, scripted plays regardless of situation, etc.

Nakamura not playing is a huge upgrade, Godfrey replaces him at his more natural FS spot. If Star can just stand his ground, the D will be improved. The secondary doesn't worry me. Just because they aren't household names doesn't mean they suck.

Why we got to bring out the GD?

Godfrey will be a big upgrade at FS, I'm not worried about him at all. Last year's starting FS will be relegated to ST after taking a pay cut to keep his roster spot this season. SS is the wildcard. I'm not worried about the secondary.

The Panthers, who finished second in the division, have the most ground to make up in the division? I don't get it.

What makes the Saints contenders again? Changing schemes on D after a historically bad season isn't going to help, especially considering they don't have the personnel for a 34. They'll be middle of the pack again this year, IMO. I see the Panthers fighting for a WC spot with a winning season.

Strugging to figure out the DE spot baffles me. Bierman has never really done anything and Osi is a big mouth more than anything.

The depth chart at this point is completely meaningless. It shouldn't even exist until TC is half way over. Blackburn is not spectacular, but is very solid. I think we have the best LB corps in the league from top to bottom.
