East Coast Rap vs West Coast Rap?

Too bad Eminem is fkn trash now Even his more recent stuff (which is nowhere near as good as his old stuff) is better than a lot of the shit thrown at us today. Em is really just making music just to make music these days, but he still releases some good stuff. Naw man you guys take the mainstream to seriously , right now Em is the C- level guys like Kendrick Lamar , TI , Jeezy and man other have put out better music than him . Hell even Drake Eh, I never jumped on the Kendrick bandwagon. He is good, but nowhere near prime Em. Just lol at Drake though. Eminem's latest work isn't great by any means but the standard for good rap music has been dropped so low that no talent retards like Lil Wayne are among the most popular in the world. Drake is way better than Eminem right now , I don't even like Drake

The sales statistics will weigh heavily in Rock's favor because fans of hip hop steal their CDs. Duh. Also, any list with Lil' Wayne on it is immediately invalid. Lil Wayne is not my cup of tea but I am not going to sit here and say that Carter 3 is a not a classic The Carter 3 is not better than anything Nappy Roots has released. You seem to be basing this a bit on popularity. I don't think anyone's going to remember Lil Wayne in twenty years, whereas artists like Nas and Jay Z and Nappy Roots will definitely transcend the time barrier, even if Jay Z has gone downhill, out of those three. Naw this is no a popularity contest , I never said that Nappy Roots album was NOT a classic

I can appreciate a nice club banger but nothing too hard . Hip hop is in it's better state , I personally never liked rappers like Immortal Technique because their music is just boring and no way / shape that guy will save hip hop / . Hip Hop is in it's best state since 03 IMO . I think people get this whole vibe that hip hop is dead which is not true guys like KENDRICK , Drake , Cole are all dope to mee hip hop was only dead for a short 3 years ( 06-09 ) . People need to stop living in the past . One thing I noticed is people keep defending Eminem saying he is save hip hop when his music right now is cringe worthy I mean did you hear " Berzerk " that 2nd verse was straight

Rock has much more artist . anything KISS releases would go plat because of their fanbase However you wanna look at the statistics. Rock is far from irrelevant. In the media it is , but it has a good fanbase while rap has many " fairweather " fans Ahh yes the media. I forgot this was a country of sheep and the media is the gospel. The Media is the big thing , youtube views and shit

You should get into to it probably the best artform in music to express yourself IMO and unlike Rock hip hop will never die out How do you figure Rock will die out? I meant by mainstream wise which does not mean much but still Rock is not relevant anymore
