  1. Throughout this offseason, I'll be putting up polls to let TGP determine the greatest Super Bowl of all time. With 48 of them in the books, I've set up a bracket so that 16 get a "bye week," and the rest compete in single-elimination votes. There will be no seeding round or preliminary round of any kind. This is the offseason and we want to chew as much time as possible. Also, we get to reflect on every Super Bowl from 1967 to 2014. ------------------------------------------------Matchup #1------------------------------------------------ Super Bowl XVI January 24, 1982 - Pontiac Silverdome, Pontiac, MI San Francisco 49ers 26, Cincinnati Bengals 21 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMz9-dtngnU Highlights First SB in cold-weather city Both teams made first SB appearance 49ers had 20-0 halftime lead First Super Bowl win for San Francisco MVP: QB Joe Montana Super Bowl XXXIII January 31, 1999 - Pro Player Stadium, Miami, FL Denver Broncos 34, Atlanta Falcons 19 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMdBvCPle8o Highlights QB Elway plays against former coach Dan Reeves Second Super Bowl win for Denver Second consecutive SB win for Denver MVP: QB John Elway ------------------------------------------------Matchup #2------------------------------------------------ Super Bowl VIII January 13, 1974 - Rice Stadium, Houston TX Miami Dolphins 24, Minnesota Vikings 7 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hz4YyYQgAJQ Highlights First SB played in non-NFL stadium Dolphins' 3rd consecutive SB appearance Second Super Bowl win for Miami Second consecutive SB win for Miami MVP: RB Larry Csonka Super Bowl XV January 25, 1981 - Louisiana Superdome, New Orleans, LA Oakland Raiders 27, Philadelphia Eagles 10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGZJtNhW4Jk Highlights Raiders LB Rod Martin: 3 INTs Second Super Bowl win for Oakland Raiders became first wild card team to win SB MVP: QB Jim Plunkett
