Five of the last six games between the Rams and Lions have been decided by one possession. At 10-1, the Rams are off to the second-best 11-game start in franchise history (1969 -- 11-0). Los Angeles won its most recent game in Week 11 against the Chiefs, 54-51, in the first game in NFL history in which both teams scored at least 50 points. The Lions lost 23-17 to the Bears on Thanksgiving and have dropped four of five overall. Detroit has scored 16.2 points per game over this five-game stretch after averaging 26.2 points over its first six games of the season. The Lions are 0-4 this season when scoring fewer than 20 points. The Rams average 7.28 yards on first down, tops in the NFL this season. The Lions allow an average of 6.38 yards on first down, which ranks 26th in the league (NFL average -- 5.82). Jared Goff passed for 413 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions in the win over Kansas City. It was his second game this season with 400+ pass yards, 4+ TDs and zero INTs. The only other QB with multiple games of that nature in a single season in the Super Bowl era was Peyton Manning in 2013 (2). LeGarrette Blount rushed for two touchdowns in the loss to Chicago, giving him 12 career games with multiple TDs on the ground. Since he entered the league in 2010, only two active players have more games with two or more rushing touchdowns: Adrian Peterson (15) and LeSean McCoy (14).
