Each of the last nine games between these teams have been decided by single digits, tied for the fourth-longest streak between two divisional opponents since 1970. The Colts lost in Jacksonville last week, 6-0, the second time they have been shut out by the Jaguars since last season. They gave up just 211 yards, their fewest allowed in a loss since 2007 Week 10 versus San Diego (177 yards allowed, lost 23-21). The Texans have won nine games in a row for the first time in franchise history. They have allowed just 15.9 points per game since Week 5, the fewest of any team. They have allowed 24 points or fewer in eight straight games, the longest such streak in franchise history. DeAndre Hopkins has tallied at least 50 receiving yards in 21 consecutive games dating back to last season. Only Antonio Brown (35) and Julio Jones (27) have longer such streaks in the Super Bowl era. Andrew Luck has 489 pass attempts this season, fourth most by a Colt through 12 games in a season behind Peyton Manning in 2010 (534) and Luck himself in 2012 (503) and 2014 (491). He has thrown at least 50 pass attempts in four games this season -- no other player has more than two such games. Deshaun Watson threw his 40th career TD pass in his 19th career game last week, becoming the fourth fastest player to 40 passing touchdowns in NFL history. He has thrown a TD pass in 17 consecutive games dating back to last season, the longest streak in franchise history.
RazorStar 4,025 Posted December 9, 2018 The Colts going for the win in their first match is going to set the tempo in this one. I think they run away with this one and end the Texans win streak. 34
