Miami's win came despite being outgained 415-175 in total yards; that's the third-largest yardage deficit in a win in franchise history (-240). In losses to the Vikings and Jaguars over the last two weeks, the Dolphins combined for just 24 points and 376 total yards. They were their fourth and fifth games this season with fewer than 200 total net yards; no other NFL team has more than two such games. After last week's 24-12 loss to the Patriots, Buffalo is averaging 15.1 points per game -- second worst in the NFL (Cardinals, 13.4). The Bills committed three turnovers in the game, and have an NFL-high seven games this season with three or more giveaways. Miami has converted less than 25 percent of its third downs in each of its last four games (18.9 percent combined). For the season the Dolphins' 30.5 percent third-down conversion rate is the second worst in the NFL (Cardinals, 29.7 percent), while the Bills' 30.9 percent rate is third worst. Ryan Tannehill has thrown a TD pass on 7.0 percent of his attempts this season (17/243), the third best rate among NFL qualifiers behind Patrick Mahomes (8.6 percent) and Russell Wilson (8.4). Josh Allen completed less than half of his passes in last week's loss to the Patriots (20/41, 48.8 percent), his third such start this season. He added 30 rushing yards on the day, and is the only NFL player currently leading his team in both passing yards (1850) and rushing yards (536).
