The Colts are 4-0 against the Chiefs in the playoffs all-time, including a 45-44 win in the 2013 Wild Card that included the second-largest comeback in postseason history (38-10). In their regular-season meetings, the road team has won each of the last four games.

Indianapolis is the second team in NFL history to win a playoff game after starting the season 1-5, joining the 2015 Chiefs. The Colts are 10-1 in their last 11 games, with six of those wins coming by at least 14 points.

Kansas City has lost six straight postseason home games, the longest streak in NFL history. The last Chiefs QB to win a home playoff game was Joe Montana in the 1993 Wild Card vs. Pittsburgh (27-24 in OT). However, this season's Chiefs are the first team in NFL history to tally at least 50 TD passes and average at least 4.5 yards per carry.

The Chiefs tied Pittsburgh for the NFL lead with 52 sacks on defense, whereas the Colts allowed the fewest sacks in the NFL (18). Kansas City (+26) and Indianapolis (+20) ranked third and fourth in the NFL in sack differential behind New Orleans (+29) and Pittsburgh (+28).

Andrew Luck ranked second in the NFL in completions (430) and touchdown passes (39) this season, but his 10.68 yards per completion was the lowest average in NFL history for a QB with at least 35 TD passes. Luck, however, averaged 11.68 yards per completion last week against Houston and had two TD passes.

The Chiefs have scored at least 25 points in all 17 games Patrick Mahomes has started in his career. The only quarterback to lead his team to 25+ points in more consecutive games (including postseason) at any point in his career was Peyton Manning (19 straight from 2012-13).

Something dumb is gonna happen in this game.  I can feel it.

The Colts have a long history of fucking Kansas City in the playoffs. There's no Peyton Manning, but I am expecting the same result. Such a shame...
