Vin+ 3,121 Posted August 16, 2019 Quote NFL reinstated WR Josh Gordon. This is one of the quickest turnarounds we've seen from the league after Gordon applied for reinstatement earlier this month. Gordon missed the final two games of the regular season and three playoff games last year, so his latest violation only resulted in a five-week suspension. Starting this weekend, Gordon can attend meetings and participate in individual workouts. He needs to clear some hurdles before he can practice and play in games, but this is obviously great news. Gordon's return is a boost for Tom Brady but clouds New England's receiver depth chart, potentially cutting into first-round WR N'Keal Harry's snaps.
Vin+ 3,121 Posted August 25, 2019 Quote Patriots activated Josh Gordon from the active/NFI list. It's go time. This was the last major hurdle for Gordon to play Week 1, so all he needs to do is practice for the next two weeks, which is something he did on Sunday afternoon. Gordon's return is huge news for Tom Brady and the Gronk-less Patriots because Gordon offers the most playmaking ability on the roster. Gordon was able to earn every-week WR2 status in fantasy last year and that could very well be the case in 2019, too. As always, Gordon carries as much risk as any player in fantasy.
