Vin+ 3,121 Posted February 27, 2013 At least with Michonne you don't need to worry about ammo. And I got the same feeling as Buc did. For some reason that preview they showed really reminded me of Morgan.
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted February 28, 2013 I thought it was fine that Rick chose Carl and Michonne. Who would you rather have holding down the fort while you are away? Plus, this is a great time for Rick to analyze and "test" the worth of Carl and Michonne.

I feel embarrassed asking this but...who is Morgan again?
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted February 28, 2013 Mine doesn't have as much fluff Morgan was the black man from the pilot who Rick met with his son. They holed themselves in a house and Morgan's walker wife would come back to that house every day, almost like she knew they were there and he didn't have the heart to kill here. Rick took Morgan and his son to the police department to stock up and when they parted ways each of them kept a walkie talkie. Rick would send occasional messages out, hoping to meet up with Morgan again some day. Rick leaves Morgan his last message back in S2, I believe, telling him that Atlanta has been overtaken. Also, to those suspecting he is coming back.. IT has already been confirmed that he will make his return in Episode 12 of Season 3 (this weeek). Yay!

Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted February 28, 2013 You watch those end-episode spoilers... That's your own fault, as is reading TWD comic book wiki.
Barracuda 629 Posted February 28, 2013 Yeah, they screwed up which eye was fucked a couple of times in this episode. Just had to have. I know for a fact his right eye was patched in one scene with bandages and tape but he eye-patches his left eye after the close-up. Very confusing. There were excellent moments in this episode, most notably from Herschel. Just awesome. On the other hand, I really dislike when nothing happens over 40 minutes. And I wish Andrea was going to die soon, but I don't see it happening. During the close-up they were showing him looking into a mirror. That's to big of a thing to mess up, I'm sure they would have checked it. They didn't fuck it up.
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted February 28, 2013 Ya, the camera was looking into the mirror with him. Pretty sure everything was set up correctly. Very confusing scene though, for sure.
Vin+ 3,121 Posted March 1, 2013 http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/02/27/the-walking-dead-season-4-begins-production-this-may AMC announced today that the cast and crew of The Walking Dead will return to their Atlanta, Georgia stomping grounds on May 6 to begin production on Season 4. The network also officially confirmed the news that TWD writer Scott Gimple will in fact be taking over as showrunner. "Scott has been an essential part of this show since he came aboard at the very beginning of Season 2," said comic book creator Robert Kirkman. "He's contributed to guiding this show in a substantial way that has resulted in a lot of the key scenes and storylines fans have dubbed signature moments of The Walking Dead. I am thrilled to begin work on a brand new season of The Walking Dead with Scott at the helm, and I truly believe we could be embarking on what will be the best season of this show yet." "I'm thrilled to continue the tradition of the spectacular, cinematic, horrifying, exciting and emotional storytelling of The Walking Dead," said Gimple. "I'm a huge fan of the comics, and started with the show on the other side of the set, as an avid viewer. Over the past two years, it's been an incredible privilege making such great television with the best cast and crew I've ever worked with –- I can't wait to make some more." The Walking Dead: Season 4 is scheduled to premiere in October with 16 episodes. Continuity among directors for once? What is this? Also, something funny from the comments section: MisterVincent andrewn0920 • a day ago I believe that if a zombie bit Andrea, nothing would happen to her; except the zombie would turn into another Andrea.
Bucman 891 Posted March 3, 2013 I hope they kill of Andrea character, she has a nice ass but is useless at this point. Unless she rebounds majorly over the course of the next few shows.

SteVo+ 3,702 Posted March 3, 2013 So, I realized I'm never going to find the time to catch up on old episodes, so I'm going to read up on what's happened in season three so far and watch tonight's episode. If it grabs me, I'll find a seat on the bandwagon.

Bucman 891 Posted March 4, 2013 I'm thinking Herschel and/or Beth die before the season is over, gonna be in some sorta attack by the governor. Either way someone big is gonna die before this season is over. From what I hear the casting crew is going back to Atlanta to tape season 4.
Vin+ 3,121 Posted March 4, 2013 Remove Carl from this episode and this is an awesome episode, still pretty good though. And Michonne may actually be a person. Who knew?
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted March 4, 2013 I wasn't a fan of an entire episode with no Governor. Previews made next week look epic, though they usually do that, so, we'll see.

Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted March 4, 2013 (edited) Loved the episode. Carl was definitely the wet blanket, but him being there was used as a tool to open up Michonne and her character. Loved the writing for her today. FINALLY squeezing out some of that potential. I am glad that my optimism about her character and their ability to turn it around with her paid off. Hopefully they continue this trend. The writers need to keep letting her talk instead of just assigning her death stares and evil glares. The ending of the episode... That moment with Rick and Michonne. That was spot on. Epic. LOVED the return of Morgan. The rhetoric between he and Rick was some of the finer acting the show has seen ever, IMO. Lenny James (Morgan) is a fantastic actor... And it all happened (for the most part) in a single room. Only thing I didn't like was that they just left him there without what I felt was a resolution.... It was that "ah-ha!" moment for Rick, IMO. He should be snapped out of Dead Lori stuff now, or so I would think. The reason they left Morgan is because he felt his purpose was to clear the world of Walkers... But he could easily do that with the group. I could have seen him being kind of the main defender / planner of death for all the walkers in or around the groups place of residence. It would have been an interesting role to fill and one that isn't really occupied yet... I REALLY REALLY wanted him to come back full time. I guess that wasn't meant to be. BY FAR.. One of the most impressive episodes from a writing perspective the entire series. And overall, one of the best episodes I have seen. Amazing. My only question is... Who lives, who dies after the attack on the Gov. As long as Tyrese and his wife see the light, I want them to live. Michonne has to live. I could see them killing her off in a face-off against the governor and if it happens I will be PISSED beyond belief. Daryl needs to live, of course. I'd like to see Herschel live, but his time just feels up, from a show stand point. The rest have my permission to die. Mathias 394 Posted March 5, 2013 Apparently the reason we don't see more of Morgan (Lennie James) is because he's such a great actor he's always booked. They said that on Talking Dead the creators wanted him back last season but his schedule was all full.

Rick/Carl/Michone/Tyrese/Daryl are all locks I would say. I don't see them killing off Beth, so that just leaves Maggie/Glenn, Merle, Andrea (long-shot, but maybe she goes down with the Governor), and Carol as candidates (not counting any of the semi-random Woodbury people, like Milton). I'd guess Herschel, one of the Maggie/Glenn tandem, Merle, and possibly Tyrese's sister, but she's pretty minor (but then again, so is Tyrese) right now. Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted March 5, 2013 (edited) I'd love for Michonne to face off against the Gov... Thurst her sword into his gut but at the last minute, Andrea jumps in the way, and they both get skewered. Talk about a win/win for the show and the fans. EDIT: Also, would it shock you if I told you that I have no idea who Drowning Pool is? Other than the video I posted, obviously.
