2011 Mock Draft Official Selections

Recommended Posts

The :Bears: Chicago Bears :Bears: select Andy Dalton (QB-TCU).

A QB who could provide some help when Cutler is having one of those days. Very mobile but has a good arm and doesn't throw too many INTs.

With the 98th pick in the 2011 NFL draft, the Seattle Seahawks select:

Meineke+Car+Care+Bowl+North+Carolina+v+Pittsburgh+ETvQ4dotv8Tl.jpg

Greg Little, WR, North Carolina

After grabbing the Seahawks their future QB in round 1, I'll continue to set their offense up for the future with Greg Little here. A running back converted to receiver in 2009, he had 62 catches and 29 carries in a breakout season. The suspension in 2010 for improper benefits stunted his rise into college’s elite senior playmakers.

He measured 6’3" 220 at the combine and his size makes him a very intriguing developmental prospect. Little needs to sharpen his routes and become more consistent, but he has the potential to be a legitimate No. 1 playmaker. He has average speed but runs with the power and vision of a RB. He has all the makings of a YAC monster in the NFL.

RICKY STANZI, QB, IOWA

He may not be my #1 rated QB, but I like the value, and I like Stanzi as a prospect and the potential and ceiling he brings to the position. He is a smart and athletic kid with good size, and he has the arm to make EVERY throw on the next level. He COULD be a guy who starts right away, but I wouldn't be extremely comfortable with that. He would most benefit as a QB with 2-3 years sitting on the bench, learning a system, and then being asked to go out and execute.

With the 103rd overall selection in the 2011 NFL Entry Draft, the New England Patriots select:

shareece-wright.jpg

Shareece Wright, CB, USC

Shareece has the potential to be a very good cover corner at the next level, and playing for the Patriots gives him a good chance of realising that potential. He's already a "film rat" as described by Mike Mayock and loves watching film of the opposing receivers he's going up against, which will definitely help him out in the NFL.

Ahmad Black, SS, Florida

ncf_g_black_3001.jpg

Chris Hope fucking sucks, so therefor an upgrade is needed at SS. Black, while he may be shorter than the average safety, he doesn't let that show on the field. His game speed is among the best so I'm not really worried about all those 40 times and that type of bullshit. Great value in the 4th, IMO.

The Oakland Raiders select Kristofer O'Dowd, center, USC.

l100472-1.jpg

The rest of this draft is going to be an effort by me to give Oakland depth on offense and possibly find some sleepers. O'Dowd came into USC and ended up starting as a freshman. Was a very solid, reliable player. If he's not a sleeper, I'm confident that he'll provide depth on the offensive line.

With the 117th Selection in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs Select...

sione-fua.jpg?w=594&h=392

SIONE FUA, NOSE TACKLE, STANFORD

A large, powerful man who gets a great first step off the snap and plays with great leverage. Fua will upgrade the Chiefs D-Line immediately, and give them the size and toughness in the middle they yearn for. And... he played 3-4 Nose at Stanford, so he is ready to go.
