SteVo+ 3,702 Posted April 18, 2011 The Philadelphia Eagles select Ryan Whalen, wide receiver, Stanford. Just drafting my board here in the 7th round. Whalen is a blue collar guy with 4.5 speed who isn't afraid to run across the middle or make catches in traffic. At the very least, he gives the Eagles great depth at the wide receiver position. ---------------------------------- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (GoodellFTL) are on the clock. SteVo+ 3,702 Posted April 18, 2011 The Philadelphia Eagles select Mike Mohamed, middle linebacker, California. Again, just drafting my board, but the Eagles will need some depth at linebacker this season. Mohamed will give them just that. -------------------------------------------------------------------- The Oakland Raiders select David Arkin, offensive guard, Missouri State. More offensive line depth? You bet. Arkin is a small school stand-out who knows how to dominate the opposition. -------------------------------------------------------------------- The following picks have been confirmed via PM: -The Seattle Seahawks select Evan Royster, HB, Penn State. -The New Orleans Saints select Jeff Maehl, WR, Oregon. -------------------------------------------------------------------- The Carolina Panthers (Barracuda) are on the clock. Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted April 19, 2011 With the 248th Selection in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals Select... KOREY LINDSEY, CORNERBACK, SOUTHERN ILLINOIS The kid has a a couple of a few numerous concerns as far as injuries go, which is why his draft stock has fallen so much here and probably in the actual draft a week from now. But there is no doubt in my mind that this kid has the ability and skill set to be an excellent corner in the National Football League. If he didn't have these injury concerns, he's looking at like... a 3rd round pick or so. But at the end of the draft in the 7th round... I definitely want to give the kid a chance instead of letting somebody scoop him up in FA and make me look stupid.
.AirMcNair. 1,232 Posted April 19, 2011 Sealver Siliga, DT, Utah A huge man at 6'2 314 pounds, Siliga fits the description of a NT in a 4-3, and the Titans love to have depth on the defensive line. He's known best for his run stuffing and with some work he can be a solid depth player on the line. Excellent value as a compensatory pick in the 7th.
