NFC North Buy/Sell / Over-Under

Recommended Posts

Sell. We need to replace Jennings though or move him into nickel.

B/S Vikings end up in the cellar.

Buy: Vikes were in the cellar last year, and I think they will do it again. Lions are improving, Vikings don't have a QB and their defense is getting older.

B/S: Cullen Jenkins signs with Chicago.

B/S: Cullen Jenkins signs with Chicago.

Sell, he would most likely have to become a DT to play in Chicago which I don't see happening.

B/S: Stafford stays healthy all season and becomes a top 10 QB?

Buy: Stafford has a lot of potential and if it weren't for his injury last season he could have been pretty dominant.

B/S: Green Bay repeats and wins the Super Bowl.

Sell: I actually like our chances to repeat... But it is extremely hard, and chances are that we don't.

Buy / Sell: Roy Williams is the #1 WR on the Chicago Bears at the end of the season. According to the stat sheet.

Buy: Johnny Knox is much to inconsistent to be a legitimate #1 WR, so Roy Williams will likely keep the Job all year. The Bears need a big body receiver that will fight for the ball in the end zone, and thats what Roy Williams can bring to the table.

B/S: Adrian Peterson will lead the league in rushing yards

Buy, I think he is the best RB in the league and I don't see Foster having a season like he did last year.

B/S- Johnny Knox gets traded before the regular season begins

Sell. He has indicated that he will "remain a Bear for life." While that isn't very realistic, I think he definitely remain a Bear until September.

B/S: Donovan McNabb remains the starter throughout the year.

Buy. While I'm a huge fan of Ponder, I don't see him taking over McNabbs spot.

B/S - Lions end up being strong contenders for NFC North Champion

Sell. They will definitely be a much improved team, but they won't be good enough to contend for the division.

B/S: The Bears make the playoffs this year.

Easy sell. :yep: More times than not, established QBs will find their way into the playoffs. Cutler does more harm than good and will make way for guys like Josh Freeman, Eli Manning, and/or, Tony Romo.

Buy or Sell: Julius Peppers finishes the year with 12 or more sacks. (Finished 2010 w/ 8)

Sell: He gets more than last year's 8, but doesn't get to 12. I'll give him 10 sacks this year.

B/S: Minnesota does NOT finish last in the division this year.

Sell, I don't see how Minny is going to be successful at all. The division is tough along with a hard schedule, they won't do so well. They barely addressed their problems at WR and in the secondary. Their O-line is a mess while Detroit, Chicago, and Green Bay have pretty good front 7s.

Buy/Sell: Minnesota ends up allowing the most sacks in the division.

Buy. Enough time has passed where I think he'd have to TRY not to earn it at this point.

B/S: Chicago overtakes Detriot for an NFC Wild card.

Well guys, here's our results:

F4E was incorrect. Vikings took Christian Ponder in the 1st.

Purple Pride incorrect. Lions finished 2nd.

F4E correct. Packers won the division.

rzb was incorrect. The Lions picked DL Nick Fairley in the 1st.

F4E was correct. Devin Hester only got 3 total returns, Patrick Peterson got 4.

rzb was correct. Cutler is still not considered elite, he is, in fact, still a bitch.

F4E was correct. LolTobyGerhart

Purple Pride was incorrect. Greg Olsen played the entire season for Carolina.

This one can't be judged yet.

Neither can this one

Sway21 was correct. The Lions made the playoffs as a wild card.

motm was correct. The Bears defense was still pretty good this year.

F4E was correct. Vikings suck.

PD2010 was correct. Cullen Jenkins signed with Philly, not Chicago.

Windy was correct (WHAT?!). Stafford stayed healthy the whole season. A fringe top 10 QB?

F4E was correct. Green Bay didn't repeat as champions :(

PTTOMB was incorrect. Roy Williams wasn't the Bears #1 receiver.

NBB was incorrect. MJD was the leading rusher of 2011, not Peterson.

Windy was correct (AGAIN?). Johnny Knox was a Bear in 2011.

Chris D was incorrect. Ponder took over for McNabb before the halfway point of 2011.

Windy was correct (some weird shits going on). Detroit improved but didn't compete with Green Bay for the NFCN.

F4E was correct, the Bears missed the playoffs.

Windy was correct (again), Peppers got 11 sacks.

PD2010 was correct, Minnesota still sucks.

F4E was partially correct. Minnesota and Chicago tied for the division lead in sacks given up with 49.

I was correct, Rodgers won 2011 NFL MVP.

housemd was correct, Chicago didn't pass Detroit for the NFC Wild Card.

Sorry if it's confusing, didn't want to copy all the posts lol

Sell.

After his suspension this year he was relatively quiet in terms of penalties/dirty plays.

I feel that he's learned his lesson.

B/S

More than one NFCN team makes the playoffs next year.
