Turry 755 Posted August 7, 2011 (edited) Giants TE Ben Patrick has decided to retire. This comes as a surprise. Patrick will turn 27 years old later this month, and he was all but assured of a roster spot after Kevin Boss signed with the Raiders. He's the second player to walk away from Giants after OL Herman Johnson did the same a few days back. Patrick finishes his four-year career with 45 receptions, 446 yards, and four TDs. MNSportsMan 5 Posted August 7, 2011 It does seem quite early, but maybe he just no longer was having any fun with the game. He has made plenty of money, but will probably still need a job to get through life. Maybe he just wanted to blend in as a normal person
