Our ACC schedule kicks off against Virginia, but Georgia Tech will be our first tough opponent. It's pretty much a tough stretch from the Miami game onward, especially road trips to Clemson and Virginia Tech in successive weeks. Keep in mind, though, that to get a spot in the ACC Championship Game, we have to be the best in the Coastal Division, which consists of Virginia Tech, Miami, Virginia, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, and TGP. --------------------------------------------- Mid-Season Recruiting Targets HB Willie Justice, San Jose, CA, 5 stars HB Joe Harley, Mansfield, OH, 5 stars HB Curtis Fulton, Pleasantville, NJ, 5 stars HB Darrius Fisher, West New York, NJ, 5 stars HB George Butler, Benson, AZ, 5 stars WR Jason Gant, East Detroit, MI, 5 stars WR Mike Blalock, Northbrook, IL, 5 stars CB Sam Schmidt, Cookeville, TN, 5 stars CB Patrick Amos, Tucker, GA, 5 stars I'm only targeting positions where depth is important, places where we could use a better running back to split carries, slot receiver, etc. And I'm only targeting 5-star prospects because they are usually 80 OVR or higher. In other words, they would be able to contribute right away. This is a weekly process, so expect frequent updates regarding recruiting.

SteVo+ 3,702 Posted September 23, 2011 (edited) A note to our offensive linemen: when I simulate games, blocking is (for whatever reason) the one category they don't give me stats for. So unless I actually play the game myself, as I did with Houston and will for the big games of the year, you guys will have to wait until I post cumulative statistics to see how many pancakes you're getting. I'll be posting that in conjunction with player progression, which happens three times per season. Also, an update on recruiting. Three of our targets have narrowed their top 8 schools to 5, though we only made the cut for one of them. HB Willie Justice, San Jose, CA, Top 5 HB Curtis Fulton, Pleasantville, NJ, Top 8 HB Darrius Fisher, West New York, NJ, Top 8 HB George Butler, Benson, AZ, Top 8 WR Mike Blalock, Northbrook, IL, Top 8 CB Sam Schmidt, Cookeville, TN, Top 8 CB Patrick Amos, Tucker, GA, Top 8 WR Jason Gant, East Detroit, MI, Top 5 WR Jason Gant, East Detroit, MI, Top 5 Edited September 23, 2011 by SteVo
