They came close to coming back in the 4th quarter but Chip decided to let the offense continue going instead of taking a timeout with 30 seconds left on something close to USC's 30. He could have taken the timeout and had two to spare, but they ended up going 4th and 17 (which switched twice due to penalties) and that took away a lot of yards. I love the Oregon hurry-up offense, but Chip's refusal to use those timeouts are what cost Oregon at least the tie to go into overtime. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
