SteVo+ 3,702 Posted November 21, 2011 When we last left the Trolls... ...they had kicked off the 2015 season--their fourth in the Majors--with a bang, jumping out to a 20-2 start. The historic stretch of wins not only put the Trolls out front in the NL Central, but announced to Major League Baseball that they had finally turned a corner and were ready to contend. Below is a detailed recap of the 2015-2018 seasons, the last four years where our beloved Trolls are under contract in Pittsburgh. 2015 NL Central Standings x-TROLLS 101-61 y-Cubs 100-62 Cardinals 89-73 Brewers 68-94 Reds 68-84 Astros 65-97 x-division champion y-wild card Player Statistics BATTERS.................AVG/.OBP/SLG%...HR...RBI...FLD% C Chance Phillips.......291/.374/.473...20....69....995 1B Oliver Kloseoff......271/.349/.520...30....92....994 2B Doctor Manhattan.....269/.344/.470...20....88....974 SS Yamaury Velez........282/.354/.489...29...120....976 3B Jonathan Maverick....297/.361/.507...23....87....973 LF Will Taylor..........287/.344/.516...29....80....994 CF Caden Daniel.........253/.318/.445...26...101....994 RF Ramirez Jaxson.......282/.332/.473...15....75....976 PITCHERS.................W-L....ERA....WHIP....BB....K....HLD...SV...BSV SP Sean Brock...........17-12...4.47...1.45....91...240....0.....0....0 SP Malik Thornton.......16-7....3.99...1.41...101...216....0.....0....0 RP Marcus Bishop.........3-3....3.86...1.38....19....53....23....2....5 CP Dontrelle Hanrahan....0-4....2.56...0.91....11....63....1....53....5 Green-Led Trolls Red-Led National League Blue-National League All-Star NOTES -3B Jonathan Maverick led the NL with 57 doubles. Nine years after humble beginnings saw us as the best team in Double-A baseball, we stand among immortality, etching our legacy into baseball forever with a three-peat, an incredibly rare feat in sports, and MLB's first since the New York Yankees of 1998-2000. In our seven seasons together we've snagged two division titles, four playoff trips, multiple all-star appearances, two Gold Gloves, one Cy Young Award, and most importantly, three world championships. Baseball will remember us for many things, least of all our playoff dominance; we notched a 38-14 record in playoff baseball, including 33-8 the three years we won the Fall Classic. All good things must come to an end, however, as this is the last of our time together. But stay tuned, because the 2018-19 offseason awaits, and we are all about to hit free agency. Part 2 of our career recap will include details on where we all sign, for how much money, and season-by-season profiles for each player until the year they retire. So, one last time... I know, just what you wanted to hear, another NL Central team. Anyway, I'm moving along pretty fast with these. I should have career profiles up at some point today.
