KiLaSix9+ 398 Posted December 28, 2011 A couple snubs but its looking better than most years. I can't believe it's Janikowskis first Pro Bowl.
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted December 28, 2011 Jennings is probably really borderline... Guy slike Victor Cruz should have been in over him but he's still awesome. On the other hand... BJ Raji has been absolutely ass cheese this season. Not sure why... maybe it's just because he has gotten too many snaps the last two years... But he's been awful. Biggest snub is Bryan Bulaga. RazorStar 4,025 Posted December 28, 2011 The Slater pick doesn't surprise me that much, since very few people notice good special teamers, but I voted for Matthew Willis for his work downing punts this year. He and Colquitt have been an insane combo. Glad to see Tebow isn't on the roster. He hasn't played like a pro bowler and doesn't deserve it at this stage. I'm glad Von Miller got in in that log jam of ouside linebackers. Suggs shouldn't count as one, but he gets in there as one every year, and Suggs deserves a bid as a Defensive end for sure. And this definitely sounds weird, but I'd have snubbed Polamalu or Reed for Jairus Byrd this year, he's been playing out of his mind this year. But Reed and Polamalu never get snubbed. Bangy 19 Posted December 28, 2011 Nelson's Stats Receptions: 59, Yards: 1101, TDs: 12, Avg: 18.7 How the hell Nelson didn't make it I don't know he had a huge break out year and the 4 stats above completely destroy his career best totals. He has proven that he is ready to make the step up as a #1 WR in the league this season and imo he will only get better. He for me is one of the biggest shocks for not being in it. NaTaS+ 958 Posted December 28, 2011 (edited) Maurkice Pouncey? Dude is so overrated. Very surprised to see Ray Lewis in there. I think Haden will be there in a few years - Champ is getting old. Bay 2,003 Posted December 28, 2011 (edited) London Fletcher is going to be the first player inducted in the hall of fame without being voted into a single pro bowl Fletcher and or Bowman should have made it on over Urlacher. Didn't expect Bowman to get many votes or recognition. Edited December 28, 2011 by BayAreaBomber
Thanatos 2,847 Posted December 28, 2011 (edited) Here's a question for you guys. Do you think that if its a rookie who's putting up great numbers, that that should count for more than a vet putting up slightly better numbers? Someone was using that argument, and I don't think it should be taken into account. The Pro Bowl is about the best players, period, people shouldn't give rookies more credit than vets for their statistics. @Bangy: Nelson didn't make it because he's not top 4, despite his breakout season. Top 4 (NFC) are: Calvin Johnson, Victor Cruz, Steve Smith, and Larry Fitzgerald. And I'm really not sure how anyone could argue with that list. The fact that Jennings got in over Cruz is merely due to name recognition. Edited December 28, 2011 by Thanatos19

BigBen07 285 Posted December 28, 2011 (edited) Here are my opinions/points: -No surprise that Brees and Rodgers are on here for the NFC. -I may not like New England, but there's no denying that Gronkowski is a solid TE. He definitely deserves to be on the roster. -Fitzgerald and Megatron. Yeow. Scary WR combo. Good choices there, IMO. -Good to see Mike Wallace on the AFC with Marshall and Green. -So this is Janikowski's first Pro Bowl? Took the voters long enough. -Glad to see the Niners got some recognition this year. -That is a scary defense for the AFC. Imagine them all being on the same team? Bangy 19 Posted December 28, 2011 76 catches, 1358 Yards, 17.9 YPC, 8 TD also didn't make the pro bowl. That's hard though because I know Graham and Tony G have better stats than Pettigrew, I still think that Pettigrew should go as he has been more of a playmaker and a need for the Lions than Gonzales. An has done well on a comeback year from a serious knee injury Plus how many big plays has Nelson pulled off this season he has more than made his name as an impact player in the league felt he should be there some where. .AirMcNair. 1,232 Posted December 28, 2011 A couple snubs but its looking better than most years. I can't believe it's Janikowskis first Pro Bowl. Might have something to do with his amazing amount of inconsistency..there's nothing to be surprised about. Bironas has only made 1, and he's been the most accurate kicker in the NFL since 2007. Robbie Gould, who is right behind Bironas in that span only has 1 himself.
RazorStar 4,025 Posted December 28, 2011 Cruz' drops could be hindering him, and it should be expected that the Packers receivers would have worse stats than they should due to the Black Hole known as Jermichael Finley eating up targets.... as well as each other. I would say Megatron, Smith and Fitzgerald should get in easily, while that last spot is between Jennings, White, Cruz, Nicks and maybe Nelson.

G-Men 8 Posted December 28, 2011 And I'm really not sure how anyone could argue with that list. The fact that Jennings got in over Cruz is merely due to name recognition. And i'm pretty sure 13-1 has something to do with it as well. With Rodgers having the season he's having one of his WR's pretty much have to get in. Although i would have liked Cruz to make i certainly can understand the snub. At least Eli got in. I thought he possibly could have been snubbed for a Matt Stafford or Tony Romo
