Thanatos 2,847 Posted January 2, 2012 (edited) PackersDynasty won week 17 outright with a 14-2 record, but it wasn't enough to catch our winner. Congratulations to Eefluxx for winning the TGP Pick'Em for the 2011 regular season with a final record of 177-79, a full six games ahead of his nearest challenger. I'll put the playoffs pick'em down here as well. Have at it! Final Standings- Regular Season 1. Eefluxx - 177-79 2. Packers Dynasty 2010 - 171-85 3. ChrisD - 170-86 4. Quick edit: this is not an implication that the Cowboys were better than the Giants. We weren't. We got our asses kicked by a better team. southgadawg 52 Posted January 2, 2012 Was a fun season against some really good predictors (funny but it doesn't seem that the professionals are as good at picking winners as the posters here are lol). Playoffs- Wild Card Weekend #6 Detroit Lions (10-6) @ #3 New Orleans Saints (13-3) #5 Atlanta Falcons (10-6) @ #4 New York Giants (9-7) #6 Cincinnati Bengals (9-7) @ #3 Houston Texans (10-6) #5 Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4) @ #4 Denver Broncos (8-8) ok i might be just HOPING that the Falcons win lol, but I my pick stands even against my better judgement. Shotgun 442 Posted January 2, 2012 Playoffs- Wild Card Weekend #6 Detroit Lions (10-6) @ #3 New Orleans Saints (13-3) #5 Atlanta Falcons (10-6) @ #4 New York Giants (9-7) #6 Cincinnati Bengals (9-7) @ #3 Houston Texans (10-6) #5 Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4) @ #4 Denver Broncos (8-8) This should be a great post-season. The Saints vs 49ers would be a really interesting match-up. With the Packers defensive woes and that giants D-line it'll be exciting to see how that game goes as well. I think we'll be seeing another Steelers-Ravens match-up on the AFC side.

RazorStar 4,025 Posted January 3, 2012 http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks Here's how the experts at ESPN did. Schlereth and Wickersham were the best of the bunch, with a record of 167-89. That's good for 5th in our league. Accuscore and the Wisdom of the Crowds beat everyone here sans Eefluxx.
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted January 3, 2012 I had the same record as Schefter.
badgers 380 Posted January 3, 2012 Eefluxx, Packers Dynasty, Chris D, and Razor all had better records than the ESPN Experts. Southgadawg tied the leading ESPN Expert at 167-89.
Bay 2,003 Posted January 3, 2012 I was a game ahead of Merril Hoge. Don't know if that's good or bad.
Glanvilles Grits 142 Posted January 4, 2012 Also besides my picks this week that were already posted, I can't help but continue to be astounded at how accurate our picks are here on this forum. Most sports analysts and columnists who keep track of their picks and records are right around 50% maybe a little over, but usually under. All of us guys here on these forums though, over 65% barring the couple who missed a week here and there. It's just astounding and something I keep going back and looking at. Pretty neat guys!
