Bay 2,003 Posted January 3, 2012 Nate Clements the 11 year pro had finally made the playoffs for the first time in his career. He was pretty emotional yesterday and I felt nothing but joy for the man. Went to Ohio St, and was originally drafted by the Bills in with the 21st overall selection in the 2001 NFL Draft. He and Antoine Winfield made the quite the CB duo there. The Bills never were able to make the playoffs in his time there, though his play as a Bill was outstanding. He was rewarded with a big fat deal in 2007 by the 49ers and never lived up to the money. The 49ers were never able to make the post-season. He was cut by the 49ers after the lockout was resolved and the Bengals signed him to a 2 year deal where I'd say he has played pretty well this year. Anyway, congrats Nate! Okay but seriously, always good to see great veterans like Clements finally get to experience playoff football.
