C.J. Spillman: Special Teams

I actually want Spence back. I don't care if he doesn't get great pass rush, he's way too good at everything else. We can put Victor Butler in on passing downs.

Oh, and we MUST lock Laurent Robinson up. You can't let chemistry like him and Romo have walk out the door.

WR Seyi Ajirotutu- This guy deserves a shot when we're actually trying to use him.

TE Richard Brockel- Love what I saw out of this guy, he's a pure blocking TE, but we can definitely use that.

OT Geoff Schwartz- D'oh.

QB Derek Anderson- Just for Cam's sake. Cam said Derek helped him out a lot, and while I'm skeptical of that claim, if he really did, then keep him.

TE Jeremy Shockey- I like the fire Shockey brings to the team.

OL Mackenzy Bernadeau- D'oh.

OL Geoff Hangartner- No brainer.

DE Antwan Applewhite- Antwan played pretty good for a guy we brought in as an afterthought, and I'd love to see him play a whole season.

LB Dan Connor- Great LB, really, and we need good LBs.

LB Jordan Senn- Really stepped it up in his play towards the end of the season.

:Falcons:

Brent Grimes - This guy is a baller...can't just let him walk away after a seasons struggle with his knee.

Curtis Lofton - Cornerstone of our defense...Falcons are making it sound like we can just let him walk. If he goes, our record instantly becomes sub .500.

Kroy Biermann- A good role player that has a great motor and could see more playing time with the decline of Abraham.

John Abraham - Only want to see him with us one more year, he's really only a situational pass-rusher...and we need one more year to try and find replacements.

TE Jermichael Finley - Either sign to an incentive-laden contract or let him walk

QB Matt Flynn - His time to shine. Let him walk.

C Scott Wells - MUST bring back

CB Jarrett Bush - Should be back

RB Ryan Grant - Won't be back, but if he takes a very very small deal, I wouldn't mind him back.

DE Howard Green - Would like him back, but we will probably bring in a FA Dlineman and look at the draft for more Dlineman.. Plus Guy will be back this year. There just won't be room for him and he is old(er). So.. He's gone.

CB Pat Lee - GONE. Finally.

LB Erik Walden - Wannabe thug who sucks at football. Gone.

DE Michael Bennet - He improved his pass rushing this year and was the only great run-stopper on the team during the 10 game losing streak.

RB LeGarrette Blount - Don't really have any other options at #1 RB.

O line - Jeremy Zuttah - Great depth, played decent at LG.

Cortland Finnegan--unfortunately I think someone else will offer him more money than we will, my early guess is that he ends up in St. Louis to reunite with Fisher, but I really hope he stays in Tennessee, I wouldn't even mind seeing him get the franchise tag

Michael Griffin--he's been up and down lately so I think we'll probably be able to keep him if we want to, and with Hope also going into free agency I think we have to keep him if only to maintain some consistency in our secondary

Jordan Babineaux--we're gonna have a much different secondary so a vet like Babineaux could be extremely valuable and I suspect we'll be able to keep him pretty cheap

Ahmard Hall--very underrated as a FB he'll be tough to replace and I'd love to see him spend his whole career in Tennessee

Jason Jones--the transition to DE didn't work, but if we turn him back into a DT he'll be a stud again

Barrett Ruud--he'd likely be coming back as a backup, so I doubt it'll happen, but our LB corps is so young right now that a good veteran like Ruud would be great

the rest I couldn't care less about, also we've already re-signed Craig Stevens, Troy Kropog, Mike Otto, Lavelle Hawkins, and Terrence Wheatley, I'm glad we're holding onto Stevens and it'll be nice if Hawk can actually produce consistently, the rest aren't players I had any particular interest in

LB Dannell Ellerbe - Worst player on the defense GTFO

Thats not fair, he has made some plays. He is just buried on a depth chart behind other talented linebackers. He may get his shot he may not but now that Albert McClellan and Josh Bynes are on the roster it is going to be even harder.

That said I have seen Ruki do his fair share of screw ups as well.

:Seahawks:

Must:

RB Marshawn Lynch - Beast Mode.

DE Red Bryant - Game changer.

Should:

TE - John Carlson - Tandem w/ Miller and healthy OL would be filthy.

LB - David Hawthorne - Heater can play outside or inside, still young.

LB - Leroy Hill - If he's cheap enough. Plays w/ mean streak, good depth.

OL - Paul McQuistan* - Versatile and capable backup. We need depth on the OL.

FB - Michael Robinson - Great blocker for Beast Mode. Played QB in college.

DE - Anthony Hargrove - Another talented big man on the outside, backup to Big Red.

*McQuistan has already re-signed.

Brees, Colston, Nicks

Could really care less what we do with the others as long as we keep these three.

The Saints are not up against the cap persay, they have about 15 Mil left right now. But I dont see how they can afford what will probably be the highest QB contract in the league, a top 3 contract for an OG, and a top 10 WR contract. Im not gona pretend to be a cap genius, but if there on the edge of it already, Brees' deal will put them over and they will need to cut/restructure some guys on the current roster because Brees is obviously the #1 priority. Im not saying its impossible but the likelihood of signing all 3 of those guys plus all the draft picks and journeyman to fill the roster spots theres probably less than a 1% chance of getting all 3 of them

True, but last I heard we had a bit more than 15 million, still not enough for all 3 tho. I can see Will Smith and Jon Vilma restructuring or even possibly getting cut.

That and GM Mickey Loomis is a genuis. He can find a way to get it done. :yep:

Unfortunately, yes. He didn't even get to play a snap last year because of injury.
