A's offense pretty much looked like utter dog shit today, as expected. Although, McCarthy was sharp and the defense played well behind him. 1 loss down, 100 more to go. But it's like people completely forget how good this team can be. We're at least getting one of the two wild card spots. No way we miss the playoffs this year. Way too much talent here. Luis Perez with 4 innings of solid relief pitching today There were a few moments where I thought he would let up a run, but he held out. Jose Bautista went 3-4 today including a home run. And J.P. Arencibia with a 3 run shot in the 16th. Unreal, especially after having nothing in 6 previous at-bats. Tomorrow's an off day Ah well. Looking forward to Saturday's game! Tough break, Jets. The Indians played a great game too. I initially thought the Tribe's three-run homer was gonna stand up. I just found out that the game is the longest ever played on Opening Day. We were held scoreless in 15 innings of baseball.....terrible. The one good thing from this game is Masterson. If he had a decent team around him he could win 20 games I think.
