KiLaSix9+ 398 Posted April 27, 2012 Lol thats fine bro u can be homer n pick boston. Boston is the better team, who led the season series 2-1. Everyone picked Boston. Not really a homer pick when its the logical choice.

DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted April 28, 2012 Bulls couldn't of had an easier team imo. The 76ers looked so promising at some point this season.
Milla4Prez63 678 Posted April 28, 2012 I'm suprised you guys are even giving the Magic one game. I love the effort we're playing with, but we're not talented with Dwight injured. Glen Davis is scoring a lot, but he is undersized and will likely struggle to defend Roy Hibbert. Anderson and David West is an interesting matchup, but we just don't have the top end talent and depth. Maybe we pull one off at home, but I'm expecting a sweep. Then we'll sweep out the organization and a lot of people will lose their jobs.

badgers 380 Posted April 28, 2012 Holy 76ers shooting fails. Haven't looked at stats yet but they must be going ~30% from the field lol. Chicago's had a ton of turnovers but we're still winning because they can't make a shot.
KiLaSix9+ 398 Posted April 28, 2012 Oh shit. Looks like another injury to D-Rose (knee). MRI later today. It would be a hell of a break for the Celtics to get past Atlanta and then face a Rose-less Bulls in the 2nd.
әightninә. 39 Posted April 28, 2012 I really hope Rose is okay, he'd be a HUGE loss to the Bulls. He looked good in the time he had today.
badgers 380 Posted April 28, 2012 Hearing Rose has torn ACL and MCL, out for season. We're done. Another blow to our championship hopes.
KiLaSix9+ 398 Posted April 28, 2012 (edited) Its official: Derrick Rose has officially been diagnosed with a torn ACL in his left knee, and he will not return this season. This is a punch to the gut for Bulls fans, or really anyone who cares about the NBA. Rose simply couldn't stay healthy this year and although the temptation is reasonable, nobody should be pointing fingers at Tom Thibodeau for leaving his starters in the game with a double-digit lead and 80 seconds remaining. Thibodeau noted that Philly was making a late run and he wanted his team to both stop their momentum and practice closing out meaningful games. In any case, Chicago will soldier on with C.J. Watson starting at PG and John Lucas absorbing backup minutes. Presumably, Rose will need surgery but he should be ready for the start of training camp. Not by much ATL can def win though. I picked ATL, and i thought u were reffering to urself as being a homer picking the Celtics.
Vin+ 3,121 Posted April 29, 2012 Bad day for ACLs apparently... Iman Shumpert has been diagnosed with a torn ACL in his left knee, and he's done for the season. Shumpert's terrific rookie season ends on a very disappointing note, and this injury decimates New York's odds of upsetting the Heat. Shumpert averaged 9.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.7 steals in just 29 minutes per game this season. Hopefully he'll make a full recovery in time for training camp. DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted April 29, 2012 Absolutely horrible about the Derrick Rose injury, words can't describe how bad I feel for him right now. I hope he's able to return to 100%, although that may never happen. As much as I hate the Bulls, i'll be cheering for him all the way.
