Bay 2,003 Posted January 15, 2013 (edited) Looks like Ryan O'Reilly will not be traded.I'd rather have him stay in the KHL than to see him on another team if they can't work things out. Maverick 791 Posted January 16, 2013 Devils ain't making the playoffs, doe. lol ok phillip. Just like last year, right? Liking Florida to surprise and win this series. Brodeur has been pretty dog shit in the postseason for the past several years. A little off on that one. REIGNING EASTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPS, SON!
JetsFan4Life 542 Posted January 16, 2013 Devils 4th? Fuck you too Bay lmao. Damn, the Atlantic is stacked. Even the Islanders arent bad anymore lol... We were 4th last year too for what it's worth. Islanders have some talent but they're still pretty bad. Doesn't help they're stuck in our division. I'll make some predictions after work tonight.
housemd 338 Posted January 16, 2013 (edited) Looks like Ryan O'Reilly will not be traded.I'd rather have him stay in the KHL than to see him on another team if they can't work things out. He's making 4 Mil in the KHL lol Ryan O'Reilly has reportedly been offered a two-year/$7 million contract. That's the same deal that the Avalanche inked Matt Duchene to. It makes some degree of sense to try to provide him with the same offer. Both are at the same stage of their career and are x-factors. In Duchene's case it's because he struggled in 2011-12 while it remains to be seen if O'Reilly can build off of his breakout 55-point campaign. The problem is O'Reilly is believed to be looking for about $5 million annually. O'Reilly is currently playing in the KHL. Bay 2,003 Posted January 16, 2013 NEWARK, N.J. -- Lou Lamoriello called Travis Zajac a true Devil. He's now being paid handsomely to be one.Lamoriello announced Wednesday that the Devils have re-signed Zajac to a long-term contract extension. The team did not disclose the terms of the deal, but according to reports, its value is $46 million over eight years ($5.75 million per season).

There are some I disagree with: -Avs will get in, as they just missed out last year. -Can't count out the Red Wings yet. -I feel the Coyotes could slip. - Last 3 spots in the East will likely be interchangeable. Florida will have to rely on regulation wins more to get in this season IMO. -Kings will compete, but I think the loss of some players will hurt a bit. -Jets home record will allow them is stay in the race until the end again. Bay 2,003 Posted January 18, 2013 @IPrago98All 36 players, including scratches, listed on LA Kings' official roster for Game 6 of the Cup Final are still with the organization So again, BigBen, tell me who they lost.
blotsfan 2,112 Posted January 18, 2013 I assume he meant injuries. Kopitar is out for the beginning of the season. Also, its not like the Kings were that good most of last year. They were only the 8th seed of the playoffs if you remember.
Bay 2,003 Posted January 18, 2013 (edited) He specifically told me they lost players. He knows I'm kidding, we're tight. Of course I remember. Once they got Jeff Carter they started to at least score some goals. Edited January 18, 2013 by Bay
