oochymp 2,393 Posted May 3, 2013 great game by the Caps and Holtby in particular, rode another amazing second period, and that Chimera goal was disgusting
Piggly Wiggly 960 Posted May 3, 2013 I'm so fucking tired of seeing the Rangers go up against Caps every single year in the playoffs. Fucking annoying. Anyways, Rangers just need to do a much better job on special teams and they should still win this series. And the Habs should have won tonight, but Anderson was fucking outstanding and Price was awful. Seeing Pernell Karl destroy Chris Neil made my week, though. Piggly Wiggly 960 Posted May 3, 2013 Blues up 2-0. Bless their souls. I enjoyed the Kings run last year, but got so tired of everyone being all over their dick. Still think this series is going 6 or 7, but I really hope the Blues end their run.
Turry 755 Posted May 3, 2013 What a game in Anaheim. Sick fucking toe drag pass absolutely beautiful.
Turry 755 Posted May 3, 2013 Wonder if the Leafs would consider starting Scrivens in game 2. I would not. Reimer was not the problem. Awful line changes and transitions and they just looked lost out there. Although that boychuck goal was weak.
JetsFan4Life 542 Posted May 3, 2013 Ottawa and Montreal play again tonight after playing last night. Interesting.
Bay 2,003 Posted May 3, 2013 (edited) What a game in Anaheim. Sick fucking toe drag pass absolutely beautiful. Once I saw it was 4-2 I could feel the Ducks making it a game. Fucking Ducks played like shit in front of Hiller. Nice fucking turnover on that 2nd goal. Tonight: 7:00 - Islanders @ Penguins: NBCSN; TSN; MSG PLUS, ROOT Sports 7:00- Senators @ Canadiens: CNBC, CBC, RDS 9:30 Wild @ Blackhawks: NBCSN, CBC, FS-N, CSN-CH 10:00 Sharks @ Canucks: CNBC; TSN, RDS; CSN-CA ( these games end too fucking late) Edited May 3, 2013 by Bay
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted May 3, 2013 Ottawa and Montreal play again tonight after playing last night. Interesting. I never understood that. Why doesn't everybody play every other day?
JetsFan4Life 542 Posted May 3, 2013 I never understood that. Why doesn't everybody play every other day? Guessing they want a certain kind of schedule to mesh up with television. They can't play the Boston game because of the Celtics so had to throw another East game in there. Don't know.
Bay 2,003 Posted May 3, 2013 I would not. Reimer was not the problem. Awful line changes and transitions and they just looked lost out there. Although that boychuck goal was weak. It was premature of me to say. It's not like Scrivens has any playoff exp either. Reimer ending up 36/40 which is actually somewhat decent. You can't get less than 20 shots on Rask 'cause you know he's going to save pretty much all of them.
Piggly Wiggly 960 Posted May 3, 2013 Ottawa and Montreal play again tonight after playing last night. Interesting. Games 6+7 are also back to back. The NHL doesn't know how to conduct business, doesn't know how to market the game, and doesn't know how to schedule playoff games. Such a joke.
Piggly Wiggly 960 Posted May 3, 2013 Brandon Prust on Paul MacLean: “We don’t care what that bug-eyed fat walrus says” rofl. Solid resemblance, I'd say.
Piggly Wiggly 960 Posted May 4, 2013 Price was awesome tonight. Great bounce back game for him. Loved the intensity and physicality by the Habs, too. Series tied.
Turry 755 Posted May 4, 2013 Ya the Habs reallly brought it tonight. Carey Price made a few awesome saves on back to back rushes. Also you can tell the sens really miss Spezza on the Power play unit.
oochymp 2,393 Posted May 4, 2013 (edited) I never understood that. Why doesn't everybody play every other day? in addition to the TV factor JF4L mentioned, they also have to schedule around other events in the venues, I know the NHL had trouble scheduling the Caps/Rangers series because of the Knicks at the Garden and apparently Taylor Swift is performing at the Verizon Center next weekend, if you think about it they basically have to make up a schedule for eight 7 game series that mesh well for TV in venues that, for the most part, are used for a lot of other activities, and they've gotta do it in a couple days, which does not seem like an easy task Edited May 4, 2013 by oochymp
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted May 4, 2013 Some great hockey last night. The Sharks/Canucks series might be the most competitive so far despite the Sharks being up 2-0. Looking forward to Caps/Rangers this afternoon.

BigBen07 285 Posted May 4, 2013 I completely missed the Rangers-Caps game. (Was outside at 1:00 PM) The 12:30 games need to go. This isn't the NFL.
