Aaron Hernandez Found Guilty of 1st Degree Murder

Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has reportedly been questioned in a homicide investigation, although he is not considered a suspect.

Sports Illustrated reports that Hernandez was questioned by police investigating a possible homicide in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. The report says police talked to Hernandez on Monday and may seek to search his home as well. But the report adds that “Hernandez is not believed to be a murder suspect.”

The Sun Chronicle, a local newspaper in North Attleboro, reports that a 27-year-old Boston man’s body was found on Monday afternoon and may have been there for more than a day. That report said police found a 2013 Chevrolet Suburban registered to Enterprise car rental, and that police believe the car is connected to the homicide. The Sports Illustrated report indicates that the car was rented in Hernandez’s name.

Hernandez, his agents and his lawyer have all declined to comment publicly on the case.

Hopefully he has no hand in this. If he does and with Gronk's injury concerns, the Pats might be in trouble and I'd have to make some adjustments to some predictions this season :yep:

So this is why the Pats have 47 TEs on the roster.

Pretty obvious that he's either A) Covering for a friend or B) Stolen Identity. My money would be put on A.

It's "pretty obvious" from one paragraph? Really, man?

The Aaron Hernandez situation remains fluid and confusing. Both SI.com and ABC now report that police are searching Hernandez’s North Attleboro home.

The investigation was sparked by the discovery of the body of a Hernandez “associate” in the vicinity of a car rented to Hernandez, roughly a mile from his residence.

According to ABC, a pair of Hernandez’s friends tried to leave the home during the search, but were stopped by police at the end of the driveway leading to the structure. Per SI.com, both were taken away by police, but not handcuffed.

The Patriots, who don’t usually say much of anything, have remained true to form.

“I am aware of the reports, but I do not anticipate that we will be commenting publicly during an ongoing police investigation,” Patriots spokesman Stacey James said in a statement forward to PFT.

Hernandez repeatedly has been described as not a suspect, but it’s unusual to say the least that the home of someone who isn’t suspected of committing a crime would be searched — especially in light of the Constitutional protection against unreasonable police searches.

That’s the key fact here. Even though there currently is no reason to believe Hernandez committed a crime, the authorities were able to persuade a judge that the house potentially contains something that would help find the killer.

Aaron better be ready to give a ring to Ray Ray's lawyer..

Or Marvin Harrison's lawyer.

Either way, I wouldn't cooperate either, if I had nothing to hide. Cops will spin your words to make you seems more guilty then you really are.

NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH, Mass. -- Investigators plan to execute a search warrant on an Enterprise rental car registered to New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez on Wednesday, sources told ABC News, two days after a dead body was found near the car about a mile away from his home.

If this is true, Hernandez an idiot. People that have high profile / celebrity careers need to have the clarity of mind to not put themselves in these type of situations.

Earlier today, Tom Curran of CSN New England gave an ominous assessment of the manner in which the investigation regarding a death of Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez’s “associate” could unfold.

It’s apparently unfolding.

The victim has officially been identified as 27-year-old Odin Lloyd, and his death has been ruled a homicide. According to FOX 25 in Boston, police have determined that four men — including Hernandez and Odin Lloyd — were in a vehicle together after leaving a bar, and that only three of the men returned to Hernandez’s home.

Per the report, and supplemented by tweets from Ted Daniel of FOX 25, forensic evidence collected by police places a vehicle “driven by” Hernandez at the “crime scene.” It’s unclear whether the crime scene was the location where Lloyd’s body was found, or whether the crime (i.e., the site of Lloyd’s murder) occurred elsewhere.

FOX 25 also reports that Lloyd sent a text to a friend referring to Hernandez.

Our mildly-educated guess is that more evidence of text messages and other electronically-created footprints will be used to further piece together the puzzle.

Any intelligent person would know not to use anything that can be tracked (electronic devices, phones, etc) when conspiring; especially when murder is involved.

It's "pretty obvious" from one paragraph? Really, man?

There was more than just one paragraph at the time, so many reporters were on this. The guys vehicle was found near by a murder scene and he was denying everything the cops were asking him about it. He was refusing to even cooperate. How is it not obvious that he's got to be an accessory?

If he really shot that dude in the face, he's an idiot. That's for idiots that have nothing going on in their lives, have nothing to live for, and not intelligent enough to plan a proper murder to not get caught. His outlook on any beef should be, "Nigga please. I'm focused on catching 100 balls from Tom fucking Brady." and walk off. *Win

Police are back at the home of New England Patriot's tight end Aaron Hernandez today with another warrant based on evidence that "he destroyed his home security system,'' an investigator close to the case told ABC News.

The investigator, and other law enforcement sources, confirmed that the security system - which included video surveillance - was smashed intentionally.

And a cell phone used by Hernandez was handed over to investigators "in pieces'' by his attorneys, the sources said.

Police also want to know why a team of house cleaners were hired on Monday to scrub Hernandez's mansion, sources told ABC News.
