Cherry 1,302 Posted July 19, 2013 Welcome to the 2013 NCAA football season! 5 recruits have been randomly selected by media sources from "thegridironpalace.com" to be followed throughout the season. Craig Carr Craig Carr is one of the highest rated QBs coming out of high school. Ranked 35th out of all players, and the second QB behind Cali product Eric McTaggart. Craig comes from Canton, the home of the NFL Hall of Fame, and where he hopes to end his career. Despite his underwhelming height and weight, Carr can truly sling it downfield. He struggles with accuracy at times, but will get more and more precise over time. Rated 73.00 by SPARQ. Top 3 schools are Miami of Ohio, West Virginia, and Marshall. It'll be interesting to see if a big name school sways him. Ahman Levens Ahman Levens "The Runaway Train" as some call him. This beast of a halfback from Omaha isn't the fastest of the class, but once he gets going it takes more than a few arm tackles to stop him. His most well known play in junior year was dragging a defender 15 yards with him to the end zone. The video was even shown on ESPN, but since then Ahman hasn't received much attention. Rated a 78.00 by SPARQ, Levens is looking mainly at Wisconsin and Nebraska, but Oregon is slowly pulling him out west. Jordy Largent Hailing from York, South Carolina, Largent is rated as one of the best pure receivers coming into the college scene. Rarely ever dropping a pass, and having constantly crisp routes. The biggest worry is his size, which might leave him on the receiving end of nasty hits. He has proven himself durable so far though. Rated 76.00 by SPARQ, and ranked 288 nationally, Jordy is mainly considering South Carolina, Clemson, and Virginia Tech. Jermaine Cole In a class filled with athletic linebackers that have great speed and strength, Jermaine Cole has an eye for the game. A tackle machine with amazing run stuffing abilities, this man is the real deal, but beware; he packs a hell of a punch. From Fayetteville, North Carolina, this truly underrated defender can pull 10-15 tackles on a solid game. He struggles in coverage, which is why SPARQ rated him at a 64.00. He isn't the greatest in the weight room or practice, but on the field he is a general with one of the most all around consistent games entering college. If he improves his coverage skills he could be a 1st round pick in a few years. Top 3 colleges? North Carolina, North Carolina State, and Duke. Charles Adderly Last but not least, this work in progress out of Detroit is a bruising man defender who can shut down a #1 receiver on a week to week basis. Rated a 67.00 by SPARQ, Adderly is one of the best man corners in this recruiting class. A thick frame gives him the ability to toss receivers around when he needs to. You won't find him in highlight reels, but you won't see the receiver he gets put against making any plays either. Once he masters zone coverage he is going to be a force to reckon with. Top 3 colleges are Michigan, Ohio State, and Notre Dame. (I'll sim the season and update)

Cherry 1,302 Posted July 20, 2013 A scandal! Yes a truly massive one! Many recruits have been threatened to go to certain schools. Now that this has been openly found out about It opens up the opportunity for any player to switch schools. After discovering at Miami of Ohio used threats to draw in big name recruits, Craig Carr has changed his mind on where he will play college ball at. Opportunities fly open with other schools and big time schools reach for this monster of a QB. Craig Carr has decided to attend Notre Dame! After considering Baylor, Ahman Levens has decided to stay near home by attending Nebraska! His parents forced him to reconsider an early option, and after comparing the two schools Jordy Largent has decided that he will instead attend Clemson! Charles Adderly was on the wrong end of cheap recruiting and threats. Now that he is safe from harm he has decided he will instead go to Eastern Michigan! Jermaine Cole was drawn away from Wake Forest, in hopes of commanding a team filled with big name guys. He has decided to attend Notre Dame! In other news, Undefeated #1 Boise State defeats #2 Texas for the BCS Bowl victory, in a 34-24 showdown. Sorry for having to redo it. I'm gonna love this QB/MLB mix at Notre Dame. Think Craig Carr and Jermaine Cole are gonna lead the Fighting Irish to a national championship?
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted July 20, 2013 Damn. From Texas to Eastern Michigan. That sucks. No Baylor though. Yay.

OSUViking 505 Posted July 20, 2013 (edited) First Name: Derrick Last Name: Ahbeeb Player Position: RB Jersey Number: 5 Handedness: Right Hometown: Columbus, OH Height:5 ft 11 Weight: 208 Skin Tone: Black Accessories: -- Strengths: An electric runner, but not much of a bull-dozer. His size and speed allow him to navigate tight spaces, and he's great at evading. Excellent receiver. Weaknesses: Not great at trucking or moving the pile; "average" at pass-blocking. Star Rating: 5 Apologies, if it's too late. Edited July 20, 2013 by Vikingfan465

Cherry 1,302 Posted July 20, 2013 Its no problem, man. Btw, Charles Adderly is the only one getting good playing time. Eastern Michigan is 0-6, but Adderly just got an INT and a fumble returned for a TD in Week 7.
Phins4life 271 Posted July 20, 2013 I'd up vote you, but I ran out of those (again). There's a limit? Its no problem, man. Btw, Charles Adderly is the only one getting good playing time. Eastern Michigan is 0-6, but Adderly just got an INT and a fumble returned for a TD in Week 7. Can Largent be redshirted for some additional development?
