While the Seahawks' offensive line has two of the top graded talents in the league in Russell Okung and Max Unger, these two have out-done themselves in holding this line together. Marshawn and Wilson also make a living eluding what our guards fail to block. You could argue there hasn't been a good guard on the roster since Steve Hutchinson. In Super Bowl XLVIII, our starters were JR Sweezy and former bust James Carpenter There are a couple other fence posts needing mending, but in a division that has 4 dominant front-sevens that maul the shit out of each other, this is the move that will provide the most support to not only allow Wilson to stay in the pocket longer, but for our runningbacks to have more seamless running lanes. We have done so with arguably the top guard in the draft. If he is who he seems to be, Seattle would go from a mediocre O-line to having one of the best O-lines in the league.

Love his game. He's a tackling machine, excells in both man and zone coverages, and I even think he could play nickel corner on obvious passing downs which kills two birds with one stone with this pick. Would be groomed to be Danieal Manning's successor and team up with D.J. Swearinger to form a gritty young safety duo.

Jordan Matthews, WR, Vanderbilt



A player I view as the 2nd best at his position in this 2014 draft class, Jordan Matthews excels at practically every aspect of the game with few weaknesses. The major knock on him I have seen is that he doesn't have top end speed even though he plays faster than mostly everyone rated above him.

He has impeccable hands and runs precision routes. He is capable of dissecting defenses, and has shown flashes of lateral quickness and elusiveness. The ability to not only take hits, but avoid them and gain YAC are invaluable to a team. He'll block and do it well. He's got the size, toughness, work ethic, and instincts to be a star. He yearns for greatness just like his cousin and 2nd greatest WR of all time -- Jerry Rice.

The rankings from popular draft websites or scouts won't deter me from making a move for a high ceiling / high floor talent like Jordan Matthews.

With Verner's departure and no proven #2 CB to replace him on the roster, a CB has become a need for the Titans. Roby brings in high end first round potential, only brought down by character issues. With a seasoned mentor in Jason McCourty on the other side and one of the best DCs in the NFL in Ray Horton motivating him, the Titans could prove to have the steal of the draft in getting Roby this late, as he fits Horton's athletic, physical style perfectly.
