The Burfict Storm 39 Posted June 11, 2014 May the only cup that is hoisted tonight be my beer......
Thanatos 2,847 Posted June 12, 2014 The Rangers have given up, brah. They've accepted defeat. Even Alain was slightly sobbing in the postgame presser. Game 4 is just the Rangers' funeral. You were saying?
Piggly Wiggly 960 Posted June 12, 2014 You were saying? Funeral re-scheduled for Friday. Rangers played pretty much their worst game of the series tonight. Lundqvist and major puck luck the only reasons why they won tonight. If by some miracle they win game 5, I'll have a sliver of hope.
The Burfict Storm 39 Posted June 12, 2014 At least the Rangers have had the history of a comeback from a 3-1 deficit before. Where was this sense of urgency in Game 3?
Piggly Wiggly 960 Posted June 12, 2014 At least the Rangers have had the history of a comeback from a 3-1 deficit before. Where was this sense of urgency in Game 3? They didn't have any sense of urgency last night. Only player with a sense of urgency was Lundqvist. Being outshot 41-19 is getting dominated, not showing a sense of urgency lol. oochymp 2,393 Posted June 12, 2014 however you want to explain it, I think this is going to be a good series, I think the Kings are probably the better team right now, but the Rangers have the better goalie (again, right now) which is often what determines playoff hockey ^game 4 in a nutshell
Bay 2,003 Posted June 12, 2014 Yeah, sitting back like they did could have cost them again. Luckily HL was in his zone.
Sarge+ 3,436 Posted June 13, 2014 So it's Friday the 13th, there's going to be a full moon tonight, and it's Henrik Lundqvist's 666th NHL game. Rangers really have no shot. lol
Piggly Wiggly 960 Posted June 14, 2014 Fire Alain Vigneault. Kill Rick Nash, Dan Girardi, and Brad Richards.
RazorStar 4,025 Posted June 14, 2014 So the main thing I got from this series was LMAO Sharks, right?

BradyFan81 404 Posted June 14, 2014 The OT and 2OT were absolutely thrilling last night. Awesome sendoff for the NHL season/playoffs. Congrats to the Kings! I still can't believe they got past San Jose, they looked SO BAD those 1st 2 playoff games. Also maybe we should cut SJ some flack for blowing that 3-0 lead considering LA is pretty obviously a powerhouse.
