CampinWithaMissingPerson 2,025 Posted May 19, 2014 The Cardinals win the NFC West via tie-breaker. Blake Bortles wins OROY, Jags make playoffs. Brian Hoyer leads the Browns to the playoffs, Jerry Jones makes a ridiculous future-crippling trade for Johnny Manziel. The Ravens finish last in the AFC North. The Redskins are the worst-to-first team this year, winning the NFC East. Tavarres King finishes the season as Carolina's consensus #1 wideout. Denver D finishes total top-5, DWare and Von Miller combine for 30 sacks, while Malik Jackson and Danny Trevathan become household names. CJ Anderson finishes with more all-purpose yards than Montee Ball After going 12-0 Manning is critically injured and replaced with Brock Osweiler. Oz loses the next 3, prompting Foxway to start Zac Dysert who wins convincingly in Week 17, and proceeds to lead the Broncos to a superb owl victory. God damn this shit is bold as fuck

BC 331 Posted August 1, 2014 Cordarrelle Patterson leads the league in yards from scrimmage. Now that's insane. I don't think Calvin even did that with his 1950 rec yards. Am I wrong?
Thanatos 2,847 Posted August 1, 2014 Patterson would also be returning punts. BC being BC again.
Cherry 1,302 Posted August 1, 2014 Patterson nearly took 3 or 4 to the house against us last year. That wasn't even bold.
BC 331 Posted August 1, 2014 Patterson would also be returning punts. BC being BC again. With the 4-5 dominant dual threat runningbacks like McCoy, Charles, Forte, etc, you think they'll be beat out for total yards from scrimmage by a WR/KR?
Cherry 1,302 Posted August 1, 2014 (edited) With the 4-5 dominant dual threat runningbacks like McCoy, Charles, Forte, etc, you think they'll be beat out for total yards from scrimmage by a WR/KR? Shady or Charles get 1800-2000 yards from scrimmage. Patterson takes out 40-50 kickoffs a year (He had 1400 or so return yards at 32.3 yards per return, IIRC.)Patterson can get 1200-1500 yards off kickoff returns. All he has to do is have an 50-800 season at WR to get 2000 yards from scrimmage. Patterson will only get better at returns, if anything. If you underestimate the yards from kickoff returns, you're foolish. If Patterson is returning punts too, he is an easy lock. Thanatos 2,847 Posted August 1, 2014 With the 4-5 dominant dual threat runningbacks like McCoy, Charles, Forte, etc, you think they'll be beat out for total yards from scrimmage by a WR/KR? Lol RBs wont beat a KR that is also a good WR.
RazorStar 4,025 Posted August 1, 2014 Yards from Scrimmage and All-purpose yards are in fact two different things. Kick return yardage is not factored into yards from scrimmage, because there is no scrimmage on punts and kickoffs.
