The Cardinals have Floyd and Fitzgerald, that's it.

And the 49ers have a old Boldin, an above average possession receiver coming off a torn ACL, and a possession receiver who struggles to catch consistently to pair up with Vernon Davis...

Floyd alone has the potential this upcoming season to be better then all three.

Floyd

potential to be better (than)

"Old" Boldin, Crabtree, Stevie Johnson

Maybe if Boldin drops off and Stevie doesn't return to form. Floyd is good. He isn't Crabtree/Boldin/Johnson good.

Obviously I don't think he's better then all three combined, but it took Crabtree 4 years to reach 1000 yards, Floyd did it in his second season. As for Steve Johnson, I would already take Floyd above him.

He's already a better playmaker then all three of them.

Crabtree had Alex Smith at QB. As soon as Kap took over, his numbers took a jump. There's no coincidence there.

I don't mean combined. Floyd is solid, but doesn't have enough under his belt IMO to be better. After this year it'll be pretty clear where Floyd stands.
