BLUE 1,026 Posted September 29, 2014 Per Rotoworld.com: Panthers LE Charles Johnson is dealing with a hip-flexor injury. It's pretty much the exact last news the Panthers' embattled defense needed. It's unclear what Johnson's status is for Week 5. Already dramatically worse than 2013 in the absence of Greg Hardy, the Panthers' defense would be in danger of becoming an all-out doormat were Johnson to miss an extended amount of time. panthergf 31 Posted October 3, 2014 Missed practice yesterday but practiced in full today he will play Sunday, Stew who did practice is doubtful for Sunday against the Bears. Also Thomas Davis will return Sunday which should help some in trying to right the ship on stopping the rushing attack which the Panthers have unlike themselves been playing poor at the last two games. If they can fix the run stopping problems and get teams to play 2nd and long or 3rd and long instead of 2nd and 3 or 3rd and 3 it should help the pass rush.
