2014-15 NHL Season Thread

Recommended Posts

The Toronto Maple Leafs have named Jim Hiller, D.J. Smith and Andrew Brewer as Mike Babcock's assistant coaches for the 2014-15 campaign.

Hiller is coming to Toronto from Detroit after spending the 2014-15 campaign working with Babcock. He was in charge of the Red Wings' powerplay, which had a 23.8% success rate last season. Smith is joining Toronto after leading the OHL's Oshawa Generals to the Memorial Cup. Finally Brewer, 29, is another member of Detroit's 2014-15 staff that's making the journey to Toronto. Matthew J. Herring has also been selected as the team's head strength and conditioning coach..

Then you better start swimmin cause you'll sink like a stone they time they are a changin

Wardo signed with San Jose, the writing was on the wall, but it's still a sad day

Leafs got themselves a RW. 5 players for 1 but two of them are only NHL level talent ( Finn and Beck). At the end of the day before this trade our first line RW would be playing on the 3rd line for most teams.
