Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted November 25, 2014 (edited) For those who don't know... Rick Pitino and his Cardinals jumped out to a 29 - 0 lead on an overwhelmed Savannah State before finished with an 87 - 26 victory. Talking after the game about the Cardinals and their fear of 'running up the score', Pitino had this to say...https://vine.co/v/O1gdEm7F11VWithout making this a HUGE deal, I was wondering what you guys thought about this. Crossing the line? Appropriate? Distasteful? Is this not propels stereotypes and a racial divide? Not saying Pitino consciously made racial statements, but it's how it came out anyway. Thanatos 2,847 Posted November 26, 2014 Extremely disrespectful to the opponent for starters. Clearly just making a joke, (haha white guys not good at basketball and an EGPYTIAN? We tried everything), but dear lord, how do you think Savannah State players feel?
