Bay 2,003 Posted July 6, 2015 Davey Boy Smith was 24 in WMII and was probably in the best shape and stronger than just about anyone at that time. Imo
theMileHighGuy 656 Posted July 24, 2015 WWE has completely cut ties with Hulk Hogan after a video containing a racially charged tirade surfaces. http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2015/07/24/hulk-hogan-erased-from-wwe-website-amid-reports-wrestler-booted-from/ In the 2012 radio interview, Hogan's interviewer asks him, "You've been saying brother for years, any black guy ever say, 'Yo, you my n----r, you my n----r Hulk." Hogan responded, "Well Booker T used to say that to me on TV and you know, every time I pull up YouTube there's that famous thing that Booker T...goes, 'I'm coming for you my n----r." He added, "They're all calling me n----r and then I started saying it and you know, I always said it but now all of a sudden I get heat when I said it." https://twitter.com/JoshCohan/status/624577793771220992 https://twitter.com/JoshCohan/status/624583100434116608 Pretty crazy. WWE has almost entirely removed any reference of him from their media sites. He's no longer on the Hall of Fame page, and they've taken all of his memorabilia out of the WWE Shop. I don't want to say I'm that shocked... but I'm pretty shocked. Dude put wrestling on the map, and now this will be his legacy. A lot of his matches and specials are still on the WWE Network, it will be interesting to see how long it takes them remove these, if they do. It's not completely fair to the other guys he was in the ring with, as some of those matches with Ric Flair, Macho Man, and Andre the Giant, etc... are very iconic to the sport. https://twitter.com/HulkHogan/status/624448337094307840

oochymp 2,393 Posted August 18, 2015 Longtime wrestling fan Jon Stewart to host WWE's 'SummerSlam' By Marcus Vanderberg Jon Stewart just booked his dream job. No, it wasn’t serving as host of “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central for the last 16 years. World Wrestling Entertainment announced Monday that Stewart would host this weekend’s “SummerSlam” pay-per-view from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. theMileHighGuy 656 Posted August 24, 2015 (edited) I might have to figure out a way to watch that Stewart kinda stole the show actually: https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=14&v=gdLYZLvBVgA Pretty solid Summerslam in general, right till the end was stupid. Now we have to watch a 50 year old man fight Brock Lesnar a third time. https://twitter.com/RoFloESPN/status/635623889868079104 Edited August 24, 2015 by theMileHighGuy

Bay 2,003 Posted October 19, 2015 Been meaning to bring this thread back for this classic video. I know this is the WWE thread but we need some WCW in here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSRrXyrjUSk Tony Schiavone is the best.
JetsFan4Life 542 Posted July 10, 2016 (edited) Figure I'd give his a bump with the draft coming up on the 19th. Any guesses as to who the GM's will be for Raw and Smackdown (should be announced on Raw this week)? I honestly have no clue. I think Shane will be running one of the shows, as for the other I'm not sure. I figure they have to bring in someone from outside. Rumors of Bischoff but I don't see it.
