Post a pic of yourself...

A lot closer to Campin than I had first imagined.

I'll take that as a compliment. :yep:

Although Campin's beard is much more glorious than my own. I get beard envy every time I see it.

Word of advice. Best not to refer to your girl as a ball or anything round for that matter :D

Dmac, I got a question. I had a presentation from my school's diversity director guy about his trip to Haiti, and he talked about how the locals act different to black missionaries. Did you notice that at all on your trip?

I did, it was pretty contradicting.

At first they ignore me, and rush towards the white people because they view me as a local, and, I feel bad saying this, but they assume I have nothing (in terms of money, possessions, etc) to give them, or that I am a local trying to exploit them. A lot of them also either just associate America with white people, or have never seen or touched a white person. Whereas they see blacks every day.

When they find out that I am from America, and am American myself, they listen to me and start treating me as though we are brothers. The children started flocking to me like crazy the second they found out I was born in America and was an American citizen.

If I can be completely honest, many of them out in villages (which tend to be much poorer then the city) have so many problems... They'll listen to the word of God, and they absorb it because it's a message of hope, but they also want to know what you can do for them.
