Thanatos 2,847 Posted April 28, 2016 I can't fault you, mate. I hate Trump a tad more than Cruz, but they are both completely despicable human beings and I am not going to be voting for either of them.
oochymp 2,393 Posted April 28, 2016 they're both despicable human beings, but in terms of being President I don't trust Trump to not stumble into WWIII, and that's a pretty damn big notch in Cruz' favor IMO I've pretty much decided that if Trump wins I'm voting Democrat, if Cruz wins I'm voting third party, if a wild card comes out of the RNC we'll see
Sarge+ 3,436 Posted April 28, 2016 ^ very true. Trump thinks this is all one big game. And that's fine if the people are going to play along and vote for him... but foreign policy is just one of the many reasons I would never vote for Trump under any circumstances. John Boehner sounded off a litany of insults for Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz Wednesday night, labelling the Texas senator "Lucifer in the flesh" and a "miserable son of a bitch." "I have Democrat friends and Republican friends," the former House speaker said during a frank on-stage discussion at Stanford University Wednesday. "I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life." Boehner, who retired from Congress at the end of October, also let loose on the two other GOP candidates in the race. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/john-boehner-calls-ted-cruz-lucifer-in-the-flesh-miserable-sob/
oochymp 2,393 Posted April 28, 2016 that's fair, I guess I should say I have more faith in Cruz listening to the people who tell him "no, that's a stupid fucking idea"
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted April 29, 2016 This probably belongs in the other thread, but... whatever. Reality TV star and transgender icon Caitlyn Jenner made a bold political statement on Thursday by using the bathroom at Trump Tower in New York City. During an appearance on "The Today Show" last Thursday, Trump was pressed to share his position on HB2, the controversial North Carolina bill that, among other things, prohibits trans people for using the restroom that corresponds with their gender identity. In a move that riled some conservatives, Trump came out against law, saying it was unnecessary. Then he said that if Jenner visited one of his properties, she could use whatever bathroom she wanted. A week later, Jenner took him up on the offer. "Donald Trump said I could take a pee anywhere at a Trump facility, so I am gonna go take a pee in the ladies room," Jenner said before entering the real estate mogul's headquarters in a video recording that was eventually posted on Facebook. After exiting the women's bathroom, Jenner thanked the GOP front-runner and then quipped in a reference to Sen. Ted Cruz: "By the way Ted, nobody got molested." http://www.kwwl.com/story/31843312/2016/04/28/caitlyn-jenner-takes-trump-up-on-his-offer-uses-bathroom-at-trump-tower?utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook_KWWL
JetsFan4Life 542 Posted April 29, 2016 that's fair, I guess I should say I have more faith in Cruz listening to the people who tell him "no, that's a stupid fucking idea" Actually I'm not sure about that. I think Trump might put people around him who actually know what they're talking about and just take his advise where I could say Cruz being the one who goes "bomb, bomb, bomb." Either way they both suck but Cruz really is the devil, Trump is just a racist idiot.
oochymp 2,393 Posted April 29, 2016 let me clarify, I don't think Trump will be launching bombs all over the place, but I do think he'll piss off every single world leader and one of them might get pissed enough to launch something at us
Piggly Wiggly 960 Posted May 3, 2016 Ted Cruz on Tuesday unloaded on Donald Trump, accusing him during a news conference of being a "pathological liar," "utterly amoral," "a narcissist at a level I don't think this country's ever seen" and "a serial philanderer." "He is proud of being a serial philanderer ... he describes his own battles with venereal diseases as his own personal Vietnam," Cruz said, citing a decades-old Trump appearance on "The Howard Stern Show." The Texas senator's dramatic and deeply personal attack on Trump comes as polls indicate Trump is poised to claim victory in Cruz's must-win state of Indiana and follow accusations the front-runner made about Cruz's father. Cruz is the most insufferable, pathetic piece of shit on the planet. I'd support Obama and ISIS before I would ever support Ted Cruz.
blotsfan 2,112 Posted May 3, 2016 So...Trump is probably going to sweep Indiana, which about 2 weeks ago looked impossible. It would now take a massive screw job by the Republican Party for him to not be the nominee. It'll be interesting to see if the party rallies around him once he's the guy. NaTaS+ 958 Posted May 4, 2016 I'm conservative financially and liberal on social issues and don't believe in a God, it's super hard to find someone to root for in this camp. If feel like this election is going to make history if not just for making us realize we do not have any say into who gets nominated by a given party.

Sarge+ 3,436 Posted May 4, 2016 (edited) Sarge, do you have a second bedroom? Asking for a friend. I do not, but if your friend is interested... There are plenty of cheap bedrooms here in Colombia, and it's super super easy to get a work visa. Edited May 4, 2016 by Sarge
