Why did your team win/lose this week?

Recommended Posts

His level of play and efficiency is unheard of, actually. He has the highest passer rating of all time in the regular season. 3rd highest in the playoffs. Far and away the best TD to interception ratio ever. The lowest INT % ever. The single season passer rating mark also belong to Rodgers.

I don't think he will ever break records like TDs in a season or anything to do with yardage... And I can see why people would not be so thrilled about those things.

But as far as skill set goes, he's very much in the discussion for best ever. Even if you don't think he is, he's the closest thing to Joe Montana you will probably ever witness (minus the SB, for now... hopefully *tear*).

Efficiency wise. He's the best ever. Better than Montana. Better than Brady and Manning. And Steve Young is kinda blah, so.. Him too, lol.

We were gonna lose regardless but this guy certainly made it easy on Mr. Brady and company:

Yes, against 2015 Tom Brady, his current WR corps... and their vaunted deep passing game. Bravo, sir.

I mean it's the Jags the best you can hope for is a 7 yard slant every time.

Dat front 7 controlling what will prove to be one of the best rushing attacks in the NFL.

Unforced errors. We controlled the game through the first half and most of the third quarter, but didn't get the points to show for it, then we started shooting ourselves in the foot. The pick six was an unforced error, Harry Douglas does just above nothing on a blitzing backer as he rolls out of the backfield, that leads to quick pressure, and Mariota makes a bad decision, that was a couple of unforced errors that gave Minnesota 7 points. Then on the next drive Mariota and Murray both decide they want the ball and it ends up on the ground, spotting Minnesota another 6 points (would have been 7 if Walsh didn't suck). We're just not a good enough team to spot an opponent 13 points. I was also somewhat concerned by our pass defense, I'm hoping it was just symptomatic of us selling out to stop Peterson (which we did wonderfully) but after seeing what Stephon Diggs was able to do to us I'm really concerned about what'll happen when we have to play top end receivers.

I'd say the same as oochymp. Unforced errors. Don't get me wrong, Denver's D forced quite a few, but on top of those we also had quite a few unforced ones.

Still were within a FG of beating the Broncos in Mile High, a very hard place to play. I'll reserve panic mode until after the Niners beat us.

If Thanatos is to be believed the reason the Panthers lost is because I predicted them to win in the gameday thread.

Anyway the Broncos lost because of a combination of Thursday Night game shenanigans, our coach going to the hospital and switching QBs after a 4 day gap.

You do give us very bad juju. Quit it. Or actually keep doing it at this point. Get us that #1 pick we can use to get the BPA- likely a DT.

Aaron Rodgers of course didn't hurt. I don't want to beat on his drum too much... But I hope people realize that they are watching greatness. He's playing maybe the hardest position in all of professional sports at maybe the utmost pinnacle of which it can be played. It's simply amazing. If we ever see anyone rival the play of Rodgers, I will be dumbstruck.

The defense though is coming along very nicely. Clay Matthews is pretty much playing exclusively at ILB, and he's doing an above average job at it. The secondary is still a little shaky, but young guys like Demarious Randall are giving me hope. The frotn 7 overall though are much improved. Mike Daniels is a monster. BJ Raji looks like BJ Raji from the SB run.. Clay is a force. Julius Peppers makes his impact felt on most plays, even if he isn't sacking somebody or getting a turnover... And this Jayrone Elliot kid is looking fantastic. He's only played a handful of snaps, but has a sack, INT, and FF on his resume already.
