blotsfan 2,112 Posted October 9, 2015 Ok you guys probably didn't watch the sabres game, but the Sabres got fucked over by this new challenge rule. Basically the refs missed an offsides call, then the play progressed, ending in the Sabres scoring a goal. After, Ottawa was able to challenge that since we were offsides at the start, nothing else should've counted. So now if the refs miss an offsides call, you're in a situation where you can't score but the other team can. Or if Ottawa stole the puck and scored, could the sabres say "No, you missed that we were offsides so that goal doesn't count"? This rule is horribly implemented. BigBen07 285 Posted October 9, 2015 (edited) That was just a great start to the new season for the Jets. 6 goals in Boston, a place where they had little success (13 straight losses there IIRC) Boston took the early 1-0 and dominated the first, but Winnipeg turned it up in the 2nd and 3rd, scoring 6 of the next 7 goals. Defense played solid, scoring was balanced, with 6 players picking a goal up, and the goaltending was good. I was very pleased that after the Bruins made it 3-2 Winnipeg didn't sit back on the lead and kept the pedal down. This team may make some serious noise this year.
