SteVo+ 3,702 Posted November 2, 2016 This email nonsense isn't getting any better, and at the absolute worst time. Serves you right, Democrats. Should have nominated Bernie Sanders instead of an obviously corrupt politician. Then again, as Thanatos rightly pointed out, Hillary won the primaries because millions of voters checked her name instead of Sanders. So...
seanbrock 1,684 Posted November 2, 2016 Wonder what would have happened if it wasn't for the relentless pro-Hillary/anti-Bernie propaganda that was spewed from the moment they both announced their candidacy or if Hillary and the DNC hadn't suppressed the vote.... blotsfan 2,112 Posted November 3, 2016 Sorry that Hillary isn't all concerned with being PC. She the candidate who's willing to tell it like it is. But seriously, someone who is accusing Trump of raping her when she was 13 was going to go public, but decided not to due to the massive amount of death threats she was getting. But saying some of his supporters engage in "bad behavior" is such a big deal.
Guest Phailadelphia Posted November 3, 2016 There's also the fact that she used voter suppression to manipulate results too. You keep repeating this. What are you talking about?

blotsfan 2,112 Posted November 3, 2016 I don't know how you defend literally everything she says and does. I was more making fun of the fact that that is the exact same thing everyone praises trump for. Hillary isn't a perfect candidate. There are many things I don't like about her. I'm not a fan of how hawkish she is. I'm not a fan of the way she cozies up to the rich. I'm not a fan of her record with some racial issues. The problem is that literally all of those things, Trump is that, but worse. Its not ideal, but this is the situation we're in. I voted for Bernie in the primary, but it is painfully obvious that if you care about his platform in the slightest, Hillary has to win. Why do you think he's been so dedicated campaigning for her? Trump would be a nightmare for the US. I tend to defend Hillary because look at the conversation here. Its a massive trump hard-on. People are so concerned about her that they ignore that Trump is a literal fascist.
seanbrock 1,684 Posted November 3, 2016 You keep repeating this. What are you talking about?well there was a huge discrepancy in her votes vs the exit polls and an awful lot of accusations about Bernies votes not being counted in Iowa. Paper ballots being manipulated and more that I can't remember but as we've seen with Hillary where there's smoke there's fire. WikiLeaks proved her collusion with the white house and the DNC and major media networks. I mean phail, you're way too smart of a guy to dispute this lol

What do you mean, suppressed the vote? Is there any evidence that she or the DNC forced people not to vote and/or disregarded their votes once cast? Really I think you're just being ridiculous here. An independent who caucuses with the Democrats changed his party to Democrat so he could run in their primary. This man was not someone the Democrats wanted over a political insider. In related news, the sun rises in the East. Bernie knew from the start he would have to beat the party's choice for nominee, and he could not do it. Trump was in the same boat and he did. So don't act like the DNC's biases made it an insurmountable mountain for Bernie to climb. More Dems wanted Hillary than Bernie. I entirely disagree with that decision, but it was definitely the will of the people. She smoked him. I don't get an America that would rather have a corrupt as shit politician over an honest man who happens to be a socialist, but that is the world we live in. blotsfan 2,112 Posted November 4, 2016 Because while Hillary isn't ideal for his platform, she has way more similarities with him than trump. It's not complicated, but I guess I shouldn't expect a trump supporter to understand. 1
seanbrock 1,684 Posted November 4, 2016 All Hillary does is move the democratic party further right. She's the worst thing that could happen to any progressive platform. If Hillary wins, in 4 years we get republican vs. republican again for the presidency. A real progressive has a strong shot at beating Trump in 4 years. If Hillary wins we have ZERO chance of being represented once again.
seanbrock 1,684 Posted November 4, 2016 http://www.cnn.com/2016/04/19/politics/new-york-primary-voter-problem-polls-sanders-de-blasio/ tens of thousands purged from voting rolls in Brooklyn "From long lines and dramatic understaffing to longtime voters being forced to cast affidavit ballots and thousands of registered New Yorkers being dropped from the rolls, what's happening today is a disgrace," he said. Election Justice USA, a voter rights organization, told CNN it will go to Federal District Court in Brooklyn on Wednesday morning as part of an effort to have provisional ballots from voters disenfranchised by the Board of Elections counted before the primary results are certified. Earlier in the day, a federal judge denied a temporary restraining order filed by the group that would have opened the polls to New York Democrats claiming they were unlawfully listed as Republican or unaffiliated. A little before the polls here closed at 9 p.m., the polling site coordinator at Brooklyn Borough Hall estimated that about 10% of those who showed up to vote on Tuesday were previously removed by the board of elections. More than 2,800 people had voted at the location. New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, a Hillary Clinton supporter, called for major reforms to the Board of Elections as a series of snafus continued to bubble up, including reports of the errant "purge" in Brooklyn. "It has been reported to us from voters and voting rights monitors that the voting lists in Brooklyn contain numerous errors, including the purging of entire buildings and blocks of voters from the voting lists," de Blasio said in a statement Tuesday calling on the board to "reverse that purge." This must not have happened either right, Phail?

seanbrock 1,684 Posted November 4, 2016 (edited) If trump was someone who kept his mouth closed,he never would've gotten this far. Yeah and I think he actually got away from some of the stuff that made him more effective in the primaries. For example I think that if he actually would have pushed the Crooked Hillary slogan (slogan's stick in people's minds and that would have had an effect on the election imo). He was running his campaign like a business man trying to sell a product in a sense that most politicians don't do as well. He didn't care about making sense. He focused ENTIRELY on emotional appeals and drilling slogans and one liners into people's heads as if they were a jingle for a commercial. I think his staff probably thought if he changed his strategy a little in the general election that it would appeal more to that independent constituency that his staff felt he could win in the wake of all the controversy Hillary was embroiled in. Problem is it takes Trump out of his comfort zone. Edited November 4, 2016 by seanbrock
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted November 4, 2016 Except since the last debate he's been... mostly... fine. And he has closed an 11 point lead on Hillary. You need to get the attention, and in Trump's case have a big mouth, during the primary season.. But after you have the nomination, you should be cleaning that up to try and appeal to the fringe voters. Polls are just polls.... But WhoDak is right, if Trump just walked back to a few comments, I think he would be far ahead. I am not sure why Clinton's campaign is being so aggressive and attacking people all of a sudden... Doesn't seem very intelligent to me, but it may not mater either.

Doesn't seem very intelligent to me, but it may not mater either. I think she's getting genuinely frustrated. I understand why, but it's probably not a good look. The "they go low, we go high" was the message she should be sticking with.
